Never had any issues with the game either, but maybe you can share a screenshot of your game folder?
Here's a screenshot of my folder (I already applied the uncensor patch after finishing it and you can even use your old saves with it).
Keep in mind it's important to run it as admin and with jap locale (right click the engl. exe and select the aforementioned options). Hope it helps!
install locale.emulator then run the game with it and select "run in japanese (admin)"
should still be in english for you but its needed for collections and achievments

Hey bro, I have a flashing error or something every now and then, all I've tried are running in Japanese and Japanes as Admin.
