I've been playing this game since the first episode and been a supporter of it on Patreon. I love it for the graphics and the characterizations of most of the women in this game. The men all suck as characters though, the MC included. The story has gotten increasingly bizarre for no good reason really. It would have been a perfectly fine visual novel without it. There's drama thrown in just for drama's sake. Dennis is incredibly obnoxious, to the point i just hate that he's in the game at all. He's not a good antagonist. He's just there to repeatedly kick the MC in the balls emotionally, except that's spread to causing harm to others as well.
A lot has been made of whether it is NTR or not. Regardless of whether it is, people are still unnerved by the ending to the recent update. Whether it's NTR or whether Dennis actually slept with either girl is a minor point to me. Dennis has put the MC and now at least two of the women into all kinds of really messed-up situations, and as I mentioned the game repeatedly gets into drama just for drama's sake, like a tv show that kills off a main character just for ratings and so people will talk about it. At this point, there's absolutely nothing that could be done to Dennis to undo what he's done. He can be stopped in some way, but I don't really see that as being that satisfying. It will just mean an end to him causing new trouble, but won't begin to offset the trouble he's caused. I think the devs either underestimate the accumulated damage Dennis is causing, or how well they made us like the female characters. The fact that Dennis has now caused serious trouble for them really puts me off of this game, although my interest had been waning in the past because of the increasingly unbelievable story, Dennis's god-moding through the MC's life, and pointless drama.
This really could have been a great game, and started off with all kinds of promise. The Daughter for Dessert one was, although it too shared some of the issues that have become more pronounced in this one. But this game moved the focus from the MC and the women to Dennis and Mosley, the MC's own tragic but completely unnecessary past, and some very weird plot that detracts from everything else.
