VN Others Completed Double Homework [Ep. 19] [Palmer/Love-Joint]

So, i'm having a few problems:

1. First the same everyone's saying, when i close the game and open it again, it gets stuck "downloading assets". I've already enabled the "at startup" option so this doesn't happen, but it's still going.
2. "scrVNE3CacheScene(): 'assets_' wasn't found in scriptsMap" these message goes out everytime I start a new game. And have to start new games because sometimes it freezes and goes blackscreen when going to the save/load menu.

So it's been a problem playing it lately but i'm really engaged with the story. I do love the game but these last batch had these problems that weren't there with the first few episodes. I also have to make backups of every episode I finish, before it wasn't necessary. Does anyone now something about this? Is there a solution?

I don't know for sure. I seem to remember having a problem with closing the game before it fully saved and returned you to the menu. Maybe replaying the previous version might help?

You don't have to worry about any NTR because it is suppose to be only very light ntr and no actual sex with any of the girls and shit for brains.

Just go ahead and play through the end of 18, it will piss you off but keep in mind shit for brains never get any sex.

I've tried and nothing. I've noticed that the episodes 1-12 are in a kind of different program? The first batch the .exe file said "nw. exe" and the details "nwjs" but the new ones (13 and forth) just say dh-ep and the number of the episode. Also the first ones the app icon was a compass and now is an atom, that's why i think it might be something to do with that

Maybe you are running the wrong exe. 1-12 use [Double Homework Ep##.exe] and 13+ use [dh-ep##.exe]

That ending was bothering me so much I had to do another play through of it just to see if I maybe missed something. Originally I thought this is a possible dream sequence, but when I played it again I had a different thought. I really hope I am wrong with this one but I think Johanna agreed to be there with Dennis. Now I am not sure if that was her own doing or if someone else convinced her she needed to do this for the MC. To me it seemed she was embarrassed to be caught in bed with him and not looking to the MC for help, but I could be wrong. She told the MC to leave and not stay to help her so I am really confused as to what to think. The part that makes me the most upset is Johanna has been my favorite character from the moment I started playing this game, and if she turns on the MC I will be even more upset. I still haven't quite forgiven Tamara for the date she went on with Dennis or the stunt she pulled to get Johanna upset. Granted both of those actions brought the 3 closer together in the long run.

All I know is if she willingly decided to sleep with Dennis and no mind control was involved I just can't see how she can be forgiven. Fuck I went this whole game without messing around with any of the other girls just to try to stay loyal to Johanna and Tamara and this is what I get. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man this game gets me aggravated, but I just have to know how it will end. Sorry for the rant, I feel better now.

This is going to be a really really hated comment but. Am i the only one that actually finds Dennis enduring, at least compared to MC. I mean Dennis is a loser, a Geek with an awful face and the charisma of a stunk that simply wants to fuck girls. He tries to chat with girls to get them to like him, make elaborate plans to get the perfect scenarios to make them fall for him only to fail. Dont get me wrong Dennis is a piece of shit. But atleast he is active, he tries to get the girls to like him, at first admittedly, but then again he is up against the MC.

With leads to our MC, he is a famed star athlete, with good looks and body, a japonese protagonist that can charm any girl in only few conversation, alongside a tragic sob story to get the girls to pity and support him.

I truly dislike him, even more if i ensure he screws every girl, with btw, is exactly what Dennis wanted to do from the start. I get why everyone hates Dennis guts. But lets be honest, if you could play this game has another male character and could steal away MC girls, you'd do it. If only because Dennis and MC are utter trash.

I hate Dennis for what he's put the MC through, but more for what he's put some of the women through. At the same time, the MC does some pretty crappy stuff to them too in his own way. Dennis at least has personality, ambition, and tries to get stuff done. The MC just mopes around and still has women throwing themselves at him. It's kind of like the entire Eric thing in Big Brother. I hated having him as an opponent, except he made a more interesting character than the MC. It would probably actually have been more interesting playing as Eric in that game or Dennis in this one, if their worst aspects were removed and incest could be worked back into the equation. It's not that either were necessarily great characters, but they were more interesting on an absolute level than the MCs for their games.

"shit for brains" only wants to fuck every girl there is regardless if the girls like him or not and he will use ever trick in the books including criminal acts.
Just take the boat, there was enough drugs on there to kill ever girl onboard and I would not put it past "shit for brains" fucking the dead girls.

You remember that thing Morgan said about the difference between "disliking" someone and "hating" someone? Well, I think about how much I hate Dennis, even when he's not around. As in, even when I'm not playing. It might be psychologically unhealthy to hate a fictional character as much as I hate Dennis. To be clear, it's not that I'm rabidly opposed to NTR, but this is like all the oppression and manipulation of an NTR game, without the actual NTR sex, so it's not like I can tell myself, "well, it's just porn, let's fap anyway." No, no! That would be too easy!

So, I was thinking, how much money do you suppose I would have to donate to Palmer to convince him to actually KILL Dennis by the end of this story? That's right. I am prepared to take out a hit on a fictional character for real money. That's how much I hate this guy. I mean I feel like I've spent 18 episodes floundering around and impotently failing to stop a madman's slow-moving plot to rape everyone I know.

It might make it worse that I've been playing this whole time as "loyal" to only Tamara and Johanna, so I've gotten to enjoy substantially less naughty fun time than this game has to offer. But, now it's time to start from 1 and play the harem route. I hope you're happy, Dennis! I'm going to go back through and have sex with ALL of these girls JUST to spite you! Well, mostly to spite Dennis ... okay, partly to spite Dennis.
