There’s a lot of uncertainty. But given how close we are to finishing DH, and how far it already is into development, it would be a waste not to finish the game. The team would like to finish Double Homework, and carry on working on projects that we already had planned, and to continue Palmer’s legacy. However, we have lost all our monthly funding. A: We don’t know exactly. But it was sudden and unexpected. And he is gone.

Q: Why have you lost access to Palmer’s Patreon creator account?
A: For security reasons, only Palmer had access to it. Even if we did have access to it now, there are legal reasons why we can’t just take it over. According to Patreon support, Palmer’s page will be deleted once they confirm he’s gone.

That's stupid because players only care about the MC not getting the girls and rarely, if ever, care about other male characters not getting the girls. Just think about the number of games where the MC has a best friend who's horny for a certain girl, but the MC gets said girl and the best friend either doesn't really give a shit or he expresses a kind of happy, supportive jealousy for the MC. Are you saying that's NTR too even though we, as the players, aren't supposed to give a shit about whether the friend gets laid or not?

In this case, Dennis is the villain of the piece, he doesn't deserve the girls and he doesn't deserve any sympathy. To say that he is being NTRd is like saying he's a victim of the MC taking girls from him, when it's Dennis who's trying to take the girls from the MC and failing miserably. He's simply being served a hot, steaming bowl of karmic retribution which is nowhere near equivocal to NTR.
