Oh I don't anymore. Four score and a bunch of years ago it was me working with three other people. Then last year it became just me by myself. So I spent most of 2020 and the lock down reorganizing code and updating the writing, etc. Basically The summer of 2020 was spent by me taking full ownership of the game and making it fully reflect the product/game that I wanted.This VN has it all, creates a strong bond between the characters and player, a nice upgrade on the visual from previous version, A music that actually captures the atmosphere and amplified amazingly. Since then I've been on my own and this release is kind of me hitting my stride.
Not really. I tried to limit that kind of in-scene branching just to keep things simple and limit the number of 'easter egg' type scenes.
I dole out points based on how sweet or fucked up I think a dialogue choice is. But when a new chapter starts, the character's "mood" is assessed. The game looks at the blue vs red points and says, Ok, this path is dominant so we're going into this scene on the blue path. And then during the course of that chapter you may possibly accumulate enough points to flip the script, in which case the next chapter will start on the alternate path.
This gives me some control over the complexity of the script. But within each chapter and each scene there are different internal monologues and dialogues that will appear depending on if you went into that scene blue or red.

Good sex which has been animated or sex which has been animated well?
As you play the game characters are 'unlocked' and added to the planner. When you turn on cheat mode, all characters become 'unlocked' but when you turn it off, it will remove all character except those you've 'unlocked' during your play through.
So when you say contacts disappear, is it all contacts disappearing? (Which is a bug I need to fix)
Or is it just the contacts you haven't met in the game? (Which is how it works be design)
I just want to clarify first before I start rooting around in the code.

That's weird. Maybe the developer should put a splash screen at the beginning of the game explaining what's going on. And to make sure people see it, maybe he should set it so you have to click the screen three times to make it go away. That'd be pretty slick! OH, and when people start a new game, he can give them a choice to continue and old game or play the new stuff, and if they don't know why that matters, include a dialogue explaining why there is a choice in the first place so that people know the old material hasn't been ported over yet to the new code base.
Ah...what's the bother. People still wouldn't read it if he did...
The save button wasn't the ideal implementation of that but rollback was acting fucky and crashes were caused if I didn't tell renpy to explicitly save the new variable. I think it has to do with the way the screen language constantly refreshes.
Anyway, from what I'm reading here though it sounds like I could tweak it to make it more visible or clearer.

It is if you didn't play v1.1.5 and then follow the new game path that jumps to the new content.
You could certainly view it that way. In time I'll get all the old stuff upgraded and imported to work with the new features. But for now this was the best way to get the new content out without making people wait another six months to a year while old stuff was brought up to snuff.

LOL We do have some weird customs. but I'm actually surprised there's no tags. Takes more than a dev saying there isn't incest for there not to be I would think. Especially when your "neighbor" has her own bedroom in your house, and asks YOU for permission if her friends can come over...
That all said, This has some great story telling and people will always come forth with a nice patch. So I can't complain.
Normally I'd complain about a Dev Milking when they revamp their game but not with this because Dev was never selfish with content he never string you along in hopes that you probably be graced with an exposed left boob with each update like some Devs do and besides the story is definitely worthy of a revamp being told best a possible. forgot to mention he actually gave us an option to pick our MC race I can finally play a game as Tyrone Long Dick Style
Praises to this Dev only other game that did this was Rockin Robin and I was so disappointed when Dev remove that option.

Well, sometimes we read news along the lines of "7 year old arrested for peeing in his garden" because th 6 year old next door could see it and was traumatized for life. If I had neighbors like that I would ask them if I could pick a booger from my nose provided I keep the blinds down and the light out. Generally I agree, making the same game three times is a bit tiring. However, for many devs this is the first foray into coding (at least on a more major scale than finding prime factors or greeting the world) and even if everything works, sooner or later too many things are not optimized - at all. Which may make some future ideas more complicated to implement, which may slow down the game significantly, or other inconveniences both for player and dev, and usually all of the above. the blond slutty girl that you fuck in the other version, friend of the daughter, the one who wishes to do it again, it had great sex animation although the aspect ratio jumped all over and sometimes it was just 2/4 of the screen, but that could be easily fixed, but now the sex animation that could have been similar with daughter is just replaced with still pics, like I was reading a fansadox comic

I absolutely remembered those reviews and conversations and took them to heart. When I get feedback on the game, good and bad, I do study it and consider the strengths and weaknesses in the analysis. I have always found writing sex scenes difficult. It's such a nebulous area when it comes to what makes for a good or bad scene.
Those conversations helped me get a feel overall for what players wanted to see and experience and helped steer a bit in the creative process as I worked out different things. I tried to strike the right balance of dialogue. I didn't want there to be a lot (Cause coming up with original dirty talk gets difficult real quick). But what was there I wanted to time it so that it had some impact in the scene. I wanted it to make sense, what was said and when.
I also wanted different dialogue and internal monologues depending on which path your on, blue or red and I think that came through pretty good as well.
Thanks! I'm feeling that way as well. As I go into these streams and start doing the art, I feel like I know where I'm finally going. This chapter was a good chance for me to get my hands on this entire project and really put my stamp on it and make it mine.
As much as I appreciate the work and effort from the old team, going forward, this is my game.

When a Ren'Py game has no Mac version, I build my own with the Ren'Py SDK. It's really simple - unzip pc game version to folder set in Ren'Py config (by default might be "Downloads",) then in SDK: select "Build", unselect "PC" and make sure Mac is selected. Build. Profit.Cassie is my favorite of all games that I have played in my life..... and I have a mac...
Edit: While I've had no problems with SDK 7.4.0 (will be trying 7.4.2 soon) some people have. So you may want to try SDK 7.3.5, I have read that it's a graphics card issue and older machines don't have cards which support the new requirements (how old? Mine is a mid-2015 and has a graphics card that can do the job.) So if building with 7.4.x results in a game you can't play, this is probably why.

Theres a lil problem with this transition and also background extremely bright its near to impossible to read. Ive had to skip alot I just cant read it white text bright background
