Alright, just finished the update. You really fucking outdid yourself this time. There are not that many games that can show such a natural and realistic incest situation. I can only think of this one and Summer Scent. Yes, even blue balling build up focused incest games are universally mired by tropes and porn logic.
I also want to add that the barrage of scenes were so hot. I have to mention that my mind is an absolutely corrupted at this point and can not get off unless there is some depraved shit going on. I manage to bust a nut to this wholesome consensual intercourse, so you are doing something right my friend.
I'm not sure if you remember, but I posted a review mentioning that the sex scenes were a bit underwhelming way back then. The very early scenes with just animation was pretty bad and everyone could agree I think. But I felt even the first examples of the new system were a bit underwhelming. My reasoning was that there was not enough kinky dialogue and the scene were pretty much over before you can really build up to a release. We had some discussions back then on how to improve it and others chimed in, many disagreeing with my position that lengthy and kinky dialogues are the magic sauce. I can understand that view more and more. My preferences are heavily influenced by japanese style scenes that use obscenely long dialogues (mainly degradation of the females lol).
As I look at how the game is turning out, it becomes increasingly apparent that one of the biggest strengths of this game is that the entire thing is very realistic. Dialogues flow naturally. characters behave realistically. The plot is believable. Adding the typical hentai dialogue here would not fit that well lol.
Anyways, getting back to the point of how I nutted... You really found your style I think. First, the extended scene (barrage of all the scenes in sequence taken together) is lengthy enough to get the job done. Second, there are many different positions and angles to keep things interesting. Third, the descriptive text is very erotic! Fourth, the spoken dialogues, while rare, are placed at decent intervals to satisfy the relevant kinks (of course I made her call me daddy heheh...).
Ok, I just wanted to say the update was fire. Good job!

Reminds me of one of the first games I encountered. MC lived with a landlady and roommates, didn't think too much of it at the time - the setup could work in a college town, dialogue wasn't too "family-ish" in general, didn't know that I games were a thing. Even when the landlady started appointing a psychologist I thought "okay, ma'am, you're overreacting to a simple thing as age difference". The the psychologist started talking about crimes, immediately stop, are you out of your mind - and I was a little bit astonished where the problem was. Put it down to prudish American culture (sorry to all Americans for wrongly jumping to conclusions here), but still ...

"Every time" seems harsh, but yeah, 2.0.0 is - for now - a "stand alone" chapter. 1.1.5 is still canon however and the two are destined to be merged.
I think your patch missed the last name of Cassie. Almost all dialogue shows Cassie H...Something by default.
When you attempt to change this via the planner there's no save/exit just loop back to change first and last name.
Edit: Nevermind i'm blind...no really i just didn't see the save option.

When mine looped back to the first name i had a "save" button underneath and the name is now changed in game. The button was a little hard to see though
Yeah and my dumbass looked everywhere but where it said Save at first which was under the name loop. I thought i had to click the little hole on the right at first

correct 1.1.5 first then 2.0Never played this game before and I want to give it a shot.

Oh I don't anymore. Four score and a bunch of years ago it was me working with three other people. Then last year it became just me by myself. So I spent most of 2020 and the lock down reorganizing code and updating the writing, etc. Basically The summer of 2020 was spent by me taking full ownership of the game and making it fully reflect the product/game that I wanted.This VN has it all, creates a strong bond between the characters and player, a nice upgrade on the visual from previous version, A music that actually captures the atmosphere and amplified amazingly. Since then I've been on my own and this release is kind of me hitting my stride.
Not really. I tried to limit that kind of in-scene branching just to keep things simple and limit the number of 'easter egg' type scenes.
I dole out points based on how sweet or fucked up I think a dialogue choice is. But when a new chapter starts, the character's "mood" is assessed. The game looks at the blue vs red points and says, Ok, this path is dominant so we're going into this scene on the blue path. And then during the course of that chapter you may possibly accumulate enough points to flip the script, in which case the next chapter will start on the alternate path.
This gives me some control over the complexity of the script. But within each chapter and each scene there are different internal monologues and dialogues that will appear depending on if you went into that scene blue or red.

Good sex which has been animated or sex which has been animated well?
As you play the game characters are 'unlocked' and added to the planner. When you turn on cheat mode, all characters become 'unlocked' but when you turn it off, it will remove all character except those you've 'unlocked' during your play through.
So when you say contacts disappear, is it all contacts disappearing? (Which is a bug I need to fix)
Or is it just the contacts you haven't met in the game? (Which is how it works be design)
I just want to clarify first before I start rooting around in the code.

That's weird. Maybe the developer should put a splash screen at the beginning of the game explaining what's going on. And to make sure people see it, maybe he should set it so you have to click the screen three times to make it go away. That'd be pretty slick! OH, and when people start a new game, he can give them a choice to continue and old game or play the new stuff, and if they don't know why that matters, include a dialogue explaining why there is a choice in the first place so that people know the old material hasn't been ported over yet to the new code base.
Ah...what's the bother. People still wouldn't read it if he did...
The save button wasn't the ideal implementation of that but rollback was acting fucky and crashes were caused if I didn't tell renpy to explicitly save the new variable. I think it has to do with the way the screen language constantly refreshes.
Anyway, from what I'm reading here though it sounds like I could tweak it to make it more visible or clearer.

It is if you didn't play v1.1.5 and then follow the new game path that jumps to the new content.
You could certainly view it that way. In time I'll get all the old stuff upgraded and imported to work with the new features. But for now this was the best way to get the new content out without making people wait another six months to a year while old stuff was brought up to snuff.
