gotcha... do we know if he's focusing on the do-over or on the development of the plot? because as much as I appreciate that he might feel he can do better on the previous scenes, I'm kinda curious to find out more about the plot

I'm following an 80/20 split. 80% of my time and effort is going into writing new story and producing new content, 20% of my time is spend slowly going back and upgrading the old content with the new features and some expanded story.

Did I miss a release update containing some of the new Lupita content ? Or am I frain-barting?

It's a little over half way done. Still wrapping it up while working on some other chapters simultaneously.

You can definitely avoid trans content, but technically, you can't avoid futa content.

I've installed the patch but it keeps introducing Cassie as the neighbor's daughter. Is there a button I'm supposed to hit to enable taboo stuff?

Reminds me when loading a new update of MNF. I play about 4 screens, then there's mention of "our Landlady," and I know I need to go back and load the patch. Of course, there was they time they talked about having "a new little tenant" on the way.

I figured it was past time I learned to do volumetric lighting from scratch. I asked Sarah to help and she happily agreed. This was my first attempt, about 10 minutes to render. I already know a few things I'll do different the next time around but I feel now I have a solid grasp of the concept. Cheers!

2021-07-02 News

Hello again friends. Time for a little news.

Progress
Progress on the game continues unabated. Albeit a little slow these last two weeks because of the real job encroaching on my time. But that aside we're moving along well. I'm in the middle of three new chapters and a single update chapter and we're about half way on each.

My plan is to shift focus a bit for the next couple of weeks and work on driving the to completion one by one.
The writing for the previous poll winners was completed but I'm holding off on another art vote until I get these next chapters done and released. Then we'll fire up the cycle again near the middle/end of July to determine what content we'll produce in August.

Toolbox
Between working on renders I've been slowly expanding my 3D tool set. I've recently gotten a grip on volumetric lighting from scratch as well as surfacing and texturing in Substance Painter. I've made a number of custom props already for the game and have a few rooms for upcoming scenes in the pipeline.

At this point I've sent enough assets back and forth through Daz, Blender and Substance that I'm finally feeling at ease with the process and can jump back and forth with ease. This means custom props can be rapidly built, textured and imported into the game rapidly.

Is that all?!
I really wish I had more to share than that, but what can I say, we're sailing along now.
We all hoped that sooner or later these news reports were going to get briefer and briefer as we slowly conquered all the challenges we faced making this game.

So in that regard I'm happy to say we're still in a good spot. Code writes itself. Custom assets are now within our ability to make freeing us up to tell any story we'd like. And well, the story has been plotted start to finish and all that remains is to finish writing the scenes.

Test renders are being posted regularly again on the Discord for those unable or unwilling to watch the live streams. So yeah. Here we are!

Anyway, that's all I got for now. I'm going to keep jamming on this game and with all due luck we'll see one or more updates before the end of July.

I don't get it. Installed the 2.0 version, installed the patch with the overwritten file for it, decided to try it anyway even as it suggested playing the earlier version first, and then the whole game consisted of 1 scene where I picked a few choices with a therapist lady (which had no discernible effect on the proceedings) after which the game said there's no more content available. If the earlier version has a similar amount of content I don't know if it makes sense to try it after this experience. Turning the cheats on opens up quite a few choices in the list of girls, but sadly none of them had any screen time in this attempt to play the game.

Is there something I'm missing from all of this, or is this really the full state of the game as it stands?

2.0 is indeed only one scene as of now, and only the choices regarding the affected girl will matter in the beginning. Most of the content is still in 1.1.5 but will be moved over eventually and you should start with that to understand what is going on.

The first thing to do is read the "BE ADVISED" page that pops up when you launch the game. You know, the one you had to click three times to make go away.

Then, when you start a new game, it gives you the option to replicate a save or start a new game with 'Limited Content'. And if those choices don't make sense, you can select, 'why are you asking' for a detailed explanation of why you might want to replicate a 1.1.5 save.

I mean, I feel for you, but the explanations are built right into the game and if there was a way to force players to read the instructions I would. I did the best I could.

In time I'll get everything merged. But for now this was the most efficient way to produce new content without making players wait for me to upgrade old content. Cheers mate.

Continuing work on creating custom hair morphs and particle based surfaces for our characters.

For Amanda, I used Blender to morph her hair into a flatter 'wetter' looking state. While I used Substance Painter's particle system to create the water streaks. Then in Daz I custom created the surfaces with a wet look.

Always room for improvement but not bad for our first try.

Obviously there is too much symmetry in the droplets and the arms were in a t-pose when using the particle system so the arm drops are flowing wrong. But again, as a first step, it's pretty solid.

I just reached that point in the game. I looked up the film title before continuing, and I wondered how the "unintended love" in that movie would apply to the story. Cassie wants her not-a-parent/dad to accept her attraction toward women?

Of course, when it said 1500, I knew something was not as it seemed...

Now i think i understand why games go the magic clothes route instead if that took 2hrs to setup. It was something that always irked me, more so than super tight shirts does for others.

You saw what Notty did for the Rock Paper Scissors stripping? She did hers all in Daz, so not this clean, but damn! Really nice work, this is quite impressive.
