Abandoned. Some of the characters will be 'sort of' reimagined by a friend of the dev's in another game that will likely be very different. Original dev will be involved very little, sounds like. So the strengths of the game may be very different.I don't have time to go through the past hundred pages. Can someone sum things up?
Is this game actually abandoned? If it's being redone, is there a new page for it?
The original vision is abandoned, so if a new version ever pops up here, consider it as the spiritual successor.I don't have time to go through the past hundred pages. Can someone sum things up?

It has been dead for a very long time. It was dead for 2+ years while the person who took over the project learned Daz. Then there was the single release (2.0) and it went back to really, really dead. Now for the past 3 years has been talks about trying to get it going again, finding an artist, etc.I don't have time to go through the past hundred pages. Can someone sum things up?

Six years. The vast majority (5+ years) of it was forum discussions while collecting Patreon checks.Hello everyone,
We have to say we're surprised and excited to find everyone here talking about this game, even though we didn't post it in this forum. My name is Roman, I'm a dev and marketing guy for the untitled IAF posted here. I've been reading through your posts and I'm thrilled to see all of it, good and bad. I'm hoping that posting up here I can answer some questions and maybe dispel some of the negativity around our project.
2. There isn't shit to the story.
This is true, very, very true. This project officially kicked off on December 14th, 2017. It started as round table discussion that quickly evolved into a bunch of buddies wanting to put together something fun...
5. In it for the money and looking to quit some jobs.
While the prospect is enticing, I can't conceive of a scenario where we'd make enough money on Patreon to match our combined 4 salaries and afford us the liberty to quite our jobs and do this full time. At the end of the day, this is a hobby, and if you can get a hobby to pay for itself while you're having fun, so much the better.
6. You're going to milk the shit out of this and live off the residuals for years.
Unfortunately we are a bunch with very active imaginations. Which means we've already thought several games past this one. The middle aged corporate executive character is only one of several stories we'd like to tell. All in all, we've got 4 more games we want to build after this, and I'm sure that list will grow as we continue to hang out and shoot the shit.
Yeah a lot of what you say is BullshitIt has been dead for a very long time. It was dead for 2+ years while the person who took over the project learned Daz. The most honest statement in this entire thread is found pretty early on:
Six years. The vast majority (5+ years) of it was forum discussions while collecting Patreon checks.
As others have stated, the "new version" in the works is a different game, with some simularities with what was attempted in the past. It should have a new title, a new thread to promote the work of the new dev (if/when it comes out). But I wouldn't expect much, other than more years of forum posts.
We won't even know if she's going to be the same Lupita, or her existing at all. Will there be any Lupita content in the new game??
Agree. Best option would be to keep this as abandoned, open a new thread and have a link in the OG post of this thread to the other game, calling it out as a "spiritual successor" of sorts.I personally feel the new game should have its own thread.
because every time there is an update
People will just assume it's for this and keep asking questions.
Or complain that this is dead.
That's just my opinion on the situation of course.
I read that as Laputa initially and it made me very confused for a moment. Will there be any Lupita content in the new game??
You may be right, but at the current moment, the new games is still in development and hasn't been published. Perhaps once it gets published it will get its own thread.I personally feel the new game should have its own thread.

Well, according to the Patreon account (which has been rebranded and handed over to meepish), a 1.0 release (as in "first version ever", I assume) has already happened. You may be right, but at the current moment, the new games is still in development and hasn't been published. I swear I've been you seeing you more and more ever since Neon's thread.I personally feel the new game should have its own thread.

I haven't been following this thread closelyI swear I've been you seeing you more and more ever since Neon's thread.
Also, does anyone know what would be the same and what would be different? Is the plot still the same? I'm guessing the same kind of writing that created that huge amount of tension between the characters can't be replicated but I just want to have a good idea of whether to expect a slightly altered continuation or just something different altogether which would probably mean it'd be best to start a new game thread eventually.
Game is getting a new name so a new thread will come eventually (First real release I would presume). Characters have been updated to a newer Daz gen so there will be some changes in some of their looks, both main story and story arcs for each LI has been said to be either changed a little or totally different. I think it will in total be something different with this games DNA added here and there (Like the characters, some story beats etc).I swear I've been you seeing you more and more ever since Neon's thread.

same characters, a few new looks, and a different story. but roman hume, is still the writer.I swear I've been you seeing you more and more ever since Neon's thread.

That's good enough for me. I'm on board.same characters, a few new looks, and a different story. but roman hume, is still the writer.
i give him a loosey goosey version of my story and he takes it and makes it magical!
he just has a way with words and dialogue and descriptions that i wouldnt even try to do myself.
so i do art/make up story and then hand it off to roman who writes all the final story and programs the game.
Yeah, I think so. It never really got far enough along for the potential NTR to happen. Is there NTR in the first (1.15) game? I made the wife mad ... had the whole "orgasm" with Amanda scene and then nothing. Is that it?
Good to hear for fans of the original game! Roman's writing and natural dialogue were the best thing about the original (with the natural facial expressions a close second) and was probably the best writing I'd seen in an adult VN. It's pretty rare to find that kind of quality and I was hesitant in that we might miss out on it... I know I'm making that all sound like pretty big shoes to fill. Though of course, that's the sort of thing you'd expect to hear from posters on the OG forum. I'm glad you're both making this a team effort.same characters, a few new looks, and a different story. but roman hume, is still the writer.
