Dunno why all the hate for Jessica she is fine nothing like a lil chocolate in yer life the bald head kinda throws me at times but s'all good her dialogue makes me wanna beat the bitch savagely however.

You have to cultivate andrea, and also maria and then shortly after dana joins you there you get jessica and that pushes things further.I think im missing something....lm up to like week 7, just focusing on Dana, Affection is 100+, sexuality is 80+ and nothing is unlocking. I keep getting movie night and then the dinner massage thing over and over.
Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?
why don't you make your own game and see if it stands up against what you have not liked. your ideas would make it boring and not worth it. this is not a life sim as it is in general, it only is bad in your opinion. to remove the features now will be a major re-writing of the code and functions and people have said they don't want what you are pushing for. please move on and make your own if you don't like it so much!1. Tell Ptolemy to remove the life sim part and just make it a straight VN.
2. You need to date the other people to proceed with the Dana stuff. Andrea and Maria in particular, IIRC
Look, I get it. The whole point of an incest game is the sexual tension, not the actual fucking, and you want to draw that out as long as possible. I truly get it. I'm just saying: The best way to get rid of the "skip weekend button" is to simply get rid of the "skip weekend button" and reshape the whole narrative in a VN. You can make the player go on a couple dates with the other characters before the MC comes to terms with his incestuous feelings. You can easily add some more scenes where the MC has inner monologues and such. What you're doing is, you're crafting a narrative. The life sim stuff is just in the way. I like the pacing and I find it fun, I like all the characters and though my least favorite girl is jessica, I do like her myself and enjoy her scens. You are doing a great job of this please keep working and do what you think needs to happen given all the input that you wish to get.Please don't fight.
I will agree that the whole fist act needs a bit of a rework. But the padding has a purpose. And it's not because I want to artificially extend the game. Lack of content is not something I feel guilty about. But me, knowing the code, I can get from the first dream that Chris has about Dana to having sex with her, in basically 2 in game weeks. I think that's far too little time. I've tried to make things as close to plausible as possible, and it still be somewhat entertaining.
And me writing weeks and weeks of scenes with Chris basically just going to work, and then having naughty thoughts about his sister, again and again, till he learns to embrace them. Well, it wont be long before I open my veins.
The padding is there for 2 major reasons.
1) I wanted to intro some very simple stats in my first game, play around with them a little. Get better for future projects.
2) Simulate the time it takes for Chris to accept his feelings. Without me writing thousands of lines about nothing much. You notice that after the first getaway event, things move much faster, and will move even faster after the second. But I think the first step takes the longest in an attraction of this nature
It might need a rebalance, but honestly it's not a priority right now. The priority is filling up the weekends and getting rid of that fucking 'skip weekend' button.
But please, don't fight.

That's why the player gets crazy amounts of affection and sexuality points once the dates start. Because they are no longer needed.Look, I get it. Edit: Just ask yourself: Why are you so in love with the life sim concept that you can't even contemplate a way to get rid of it?
you are doing a GREAT job, what i really like of this game the options that you can avoid some scenes and repeat the ones that you like a VN will kill that, your game is awesome the way it isThank you

But what you're suggesting, may seem easy, but it's not. Yes, the coding would be easy, I could do it in a day, but the filling up of that time.....
Let's do a little math.
I'd need at least 3 weeks in game from start to first getaway, for it to be even remotely plausible. That's 21 days. Let's say 3 scenes per day, no randoms etc... That's 63 scenes. Let's assume the minimum of 10 renders per scene, that's 630 renders. Not easy. And coming up with 63 ideas for each scene, NOT EASY.
Alternatively, I could fill it up with "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off", "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off, this time Dana appears briefly in his fantasy", "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off, this time Dana appears a little more ......" How long before everyone, not just me would want to open their veins....
This game is more about a relationship, not necessarily about tension. Intimate Relations, is all about tension, and is a pure VN. You might want to check that out. Though updates are infrequent, DoD is my main project.
