I have considered it. After I played around with the stats for the first couple of months, I had no more use for them. That's why the player gets crazy amounts of affection and sexuality points once the dates start. Because they are no longer needed.
But what you're suggesting, may seem easy, but it's not. Yes, the coding would be easy, I could do it in a day, but the filling up of that time.....
Let's do a little math.
I'd need at least 3 weeks in game from start to first getaway, for it to be even remotely plausible. That's 21 days. Let's say 3 scenes per day, no randoms etc... That's 63 scenes. Let's assume the minimum of 10 renders per scene, that's 630 renders. Not easy. And coming up with 63 ideas for each scene, NOT EASY.
Alternatively, I could fill it up with "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off", "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off, this time Dana appears briefly in his fantasy", "He goes to work, he goes home, he jerks off, this time Dana appears a little more ......" How long before everyone, not just me would want to open their veins....
This game is more about a relationship, not necessarily about tension. Intimate Relations, is all about tension, and is a pure VN. You might want to check that out. Though updates are infrequent, DoD is my main project.
