That's what disappoints me too. I don't really mind waiting a lot for an update, as long it's a substantial one, but we can't pretend this is the case with this game's next update. I appreciate the dev's hard work and like their art, but let's be honest about it, as long as they don't release more substantial updates with a decent amount of story progress, character development, build up and a few sex scenes, they won't get the support they looking for any time soon.
Good for you too, I guess, cuz after what we've seen so far, I'd rather romance hoes like Leah and Danielle than risk my ass with Mei.

Unfortunately, this has happened lately to a lot of games I've really enjoyed. So, for the developer to not go all in and put all of their resources into this project, I think that's a smart thing to do.
You missed the point of the post you quoted. I never said they should abandon their RL and main source of income lol, cuz real life is a real nasty, merciless bitch sometimes. By releasing more updates to attract more supporters, I meant to say they should've spent a few dollars on making at least three or four big updates in their free time first before officially releasing the first one on Patreon and pirate forums like F95, and only after that, they could see how their fans react to it and if it's worth working on the game full-time or it's back to the real-life grind, stress and all the other 'wonderful' adult stuff.
That way, they could've used as much free time they had available to work on this game and there wouldn't be any pressure of missing deadlines (like they did a lot) for a few small updates.The thing is, and I don't mean this to offend anyone, at least not intentionally, the "dev can't spend more time on the game cuz of their RL job" is a pretty weak excuse IMO, cuz they should make enough content that would draw the attention and support of at least a few ppl first before officially releasing its first update and complaining about the lack of time to spend on its development. I'm not saying making a porn game is an easy job, especially for a single person, cuz it obviously ain't for a lot of good reasons. But nobody forces anyone to become a developer overnight for the heck of it, and if said devs don't start thinking first about the costs and time required to get the job done and to also make some money off it, it's not their fans problem they dive head first into this brick wall that is this business.
I understand you want to defend the dev, and I respect that, but if we're a lil honest here, while we can all agree their renders are pretty good and the women ridiculously attractive, the story's not much of a revelation or promising piece of porn literature, and this is the biggest minus the game has. The slow release schedule won't give the players and potential new supporters the hope that things will change a lot for the better, and most of them just don't want to risk wasting their time and money on a product that, sadly, seems to be doomed to fail.
I really do hope I'm wrong about this, cuz I like the game too and am curious to see how the story unfolds, but things don't look too good on the development front.
