I'm guessing maybe legal issues with maybe the host site or original designers for some characters maybe. Studio Khara, the ones beside evangelion made it so that you can't any pornographic content involving their characters. So it might be something similar to that. Just checked on the iwara site too, looks like there were some issues in the past involving videos containing bestiary, so most of those videos are being flagged now. This is all me just guessing stuff, so I'm not entirely sure about why they are wiping everything. All could just be legal issues or something related to their private life.
