Dual Family is one of many games on Patreon that apes the "slow corruption formula of family members" formula from japanese H games. Just check the popular games section here. This game has great models, for sure, but it's pointless because he can't compose hot scenes with them. After a prolonged development schedule, he failed to deliver on the goods when the time came. All you have left is a melodrama I've seen on fanfiction sites a zillion times before. In theory it was a nice idea to try and do a different kind of tone but in an uncomplete form it's an unsatisfying experience. Wherehas a game with a lighter tone can be fun to read through scene by scene, even when the game is unfinished. While it's great to not jump headlong into things, if you are looking for people to back you financially, you need to show you can deliver the goods and create really hot scenes when the time comes. If he can't create good sex scenes, he should change it to a non-sex game.

I can't confirm or deny that claim about this game's not being as good as others among the only couple of dozen games I've sampled. For now, this fits a niche, though, as I said, a perplexing one.

As for the rest, well, I'm still new and not a current patron, so I'll make my own judgments based on the production from this point forward, since the past performance is irrelevant to my decision. But, I always appreciate more info, especially when it's done without the hyperventilating.

While @Vanaduke is with some reason quite fed up with gumdrop´s stretching out of the story with fillers instead of a more compact, coherent one, the main problem he, I and a ton of other users have is gumdrop´s unreliability and lies, which stink to heaven!
One of his patreons posted that they were informed by him that the update would be online in 12-16 hours, maybe a few hours testing time added too. so let us say 20 hours tops. They got that message FOUR, in some parts of the World already FIVE days ago and...nothing! The "progress bar" he has online turned out to be a pure lie. It stood at over 95+% for weeks, when he admitted later on that the update was 50% finished at best.

If the game was what you showed me, I wouldn't expect it. This is typical porn game. No interesting dialogue.
I agree that Gumdrop slowly developing the plot,

The main problem most in this thread have with gumdrop is not the story itself (most of us like it that it is not the typical 08/15 story, even if gumdrop uses some fillers where there is no need to).
The main problem is gumdrop´s utter unreliability and lying. I mentioned it before, nobody has a problem with a delay or two due to health or a filled calendar. That´s real life at work.
BUT here in gumdrops case, he never kept any deadline, no matter how flimsy it was. His promises aren´t worth the paper they are on, because he broke practically all he made during development of the game. Most of his excuses for the delays are an insult to our intelligence. He provenly lied to the audience several times.
You see, the problem we have is not the story or the speed, but a lazy, lying developer.
