wow its been like what two years since an actual main story update for this game?

I don't get why everything just goes round in circles on this thread, yeah seems like he's just one of those lazy devs who just cashes checks but hey people can pull their support at any time on Patreon, so I just don't see the issue why the resentful posts....

I can understand some of the members here being pissed if they supported the game but there are far better games out there, both graphically and story wise yet this thread is approaching 500 pages, I mean yeah if you supported and didnt get an update then yeah that's annoying as hell but if like me and never given the guy a dime then i'm not going to complain, I bet most of the pages only contain people running down GumDrop....

First time I checked in on this page for ages and the same conversations are happening lol, I personally don't think this game is worth all the fuss that's been kicked up over it, there are far better ones out there to be honest....

Just try this scenario: Someone sells drugs and needs a legit method to declare income. He gets a few people in his group to get rechargeable credit cards, set up multiple Patreon accounts, and submit monthly payments. Then he disburses the cash to them and they take a cut of it for the trouble. When they get low, they simply go the business where they can load the rechargeable credit card to deposit the cash into the card then use the card on Patreon or his own site.
So he CAN be money laundering through that method. Money laundering is simply a process of turning illegal money into legal funds.

It is quite fascinating... In 4-ish days I'am "around the internet" for 15 years (yes, I'am that fucking old!) and I dare to say, I've seen literally everything that there is, was and will be and yet, some things never change (with the exception of war, because war never changes) and to confirm an old statement of mine: The internet is a distorted mirror of the real world. Or maybe the real world is a distorted mirror of the internet, as people tend to show their real self here... You get my point...

Just open a newspaper and look how many people get screwed over every day by some ponzi scheme, nigerian prince, investmet banker or whatever... I mean, capitalism itself is more or less "screwing" people out of their money (viewing the lowest common denominator - produce as cheap as possible, sell as expensive as possible ect.)... Anyway...

His patreons tell us two things:
First: Most people have way more money than they actually deserve (looking at how care- and brainless they "spend" it).
Second: Most people are just as dumb as a loaf of bread. If you tell them, in heaven is carnival they ask you where the ladder is.

I wonder what happened to the 3 principles to have a good life?

Speak for yourself, I muted him immediately after his failure to articulate a concise argument against mine. His refusal to acknowledge when he'd loss and his obvious agenda that serves a moot purpose save to confirm his own "intellectual prowess" also played a part. It didn't take much for me to garner that it was a complete waist of time speaking to such an arrogant fool; let alone here was he has to say. Its Been smooth sailing lurking for the lulz ever since.

Nope. Not a witch hunt. If you were *actually* paying attention, what people are talking about is how on earth he's still pulling in 9K a month for basically just existing. The conversation then turned to what he could be doing with that money as he's beyond obviously not working on a game, and if he could be involved in either Fraud or just be a flat out scam artist.

So, to sum up. Not a witch hunt. Just a shit ton of people beyond fed up with the scammers bullshit, and the people that defend said scumbag. As to why people defend him? Well, as far as I can make out, it's either out of a need to stir up shit, to troll people, or because they actually believe he's hard at work.

How about make a nice youtube video, make it public, throw your face into the screen and sign with your name, and throw charges at him, you want to expose him right? Or is the confined space of this forum bubble the extent of bravery? None of you taken your crusade over to steam discussions? or carried out the great "review bombing"? What's the matter? afraid it would impact your steam accounts?

One thing is to actually go after someone for not being truthful, being deceiving etc when they actually are. And to claim criminal activities without any actual proof.

Just because you don't understand why people toss money at something you deem futile, pointless and what not. Doesn't keep people from do it. It's just life, people do it all the fucking time. Try not to get to obviously butthurt over what is (and I'm basing my guess according to you absolutely crawling up my ass) likely your favorite developer getting called out as a scammer on game sites. It's going to happen. Especially after the nonsense said developer has pulled these last years.

As to actually going on steam or the GD website forum, (and this hails back to that whole paying attention thing) you would see that everyone that actively complains or asks uncomfortable questions either gets shouted down by people like you, or just get banned out right.

As to claiming criminal activity, I most certainly didn't. I simply asked whether or not promising to supply a product, receiving payment for said product, and then disengaging on delivery of said promised product constitutes as fraud.

And finally, to the public face thing? Put your money were your colossal mouth is. Also, funny enough, even though you seem to have either eaten or mated with a thesaurus, your grammar is still a solid fail. What's that old saying about dog's that bark the loudest? But as for consolation he saying hes working on act 2 but the patron not buying on that and say just focus on finishing act1.

He is already inventing excuses for "act 2" (the ambiguous bullshit he spewed that could be understood as a rework) so it makes sense he now claims to be working on it. Since he already laid all the blame for "act 1" on some other dude he is covering his own ass now. Now when confronted about "act 1" he can blame the animator, and when confronted about "act 2" he can blame the additional work he is supposed to be doing. In reality, no work is being done, as the evidence I showed in my previous posts makes clear. Since his patrons are dumb as a rock, who keep swallowing cropped, duplicate and blurred old images as supposed "previews", they believe all the lies about all the work he claims to be doing, even when no actual evidence is ever shown.

Also, it's very curious how a commissioned animator is so bad at his work: first the mediocre cropped viewport animations, now these delays that would put him out of business quickly. Quite suspicious to say the least.

What people should notice is that even his excuse has an obvious hole: the animator can animate all the stuff relatively quickly (assuming he is real and knows what he is doing), and then give the scenes to gumdrop so he can render them on his supposed 10 gpus. There is no reason to expect long delays from an animator, as animation data is portable. An animator shouldn't be rendering stuff when you claim to have 10 gpus that could do it much, much faster. How come nobody confronted him about this obvious hole in his story?

I don't see this scammer even bothering with doing any work whatsoever anymore. He is shamelessly 100% scamming now.
