It's hard for me to imagine that you seriously believed that by sending this "post of reconciliation" everyone would suddenly calm down, let go of their anger and start discussing how much interesting content and animation GD had prepared for them.

3.) Nobody takes Gumdrops seriously, and most of the rage is faux at best at this point because we understand he's a joke and it's been on-going for two years. No one can still honestly be pent up with rage screaming at a computer after that long.

There is quite a lot of "conspiracy theories" and accusations dropped on GD it's worth speak up against, because... Common sense. GD throwing FatCat under the bus... Not one of them.
GD reached the pinnacle of what is a terrible developer. Credited and earned all by himself. If you going to throw a noose around someones neck, there is no need to invent all kind of shit in addition to make up a reason for it.

"look at us we don't get fooled by GD, we're smart XDDDD" I already made a post abou this a year ago. There is nothing wrong with keeping everyone up to date on what bullshit gumdrop has to say and make memes about it, but this constant echoing of the same arguing is just as bad as gumdrop's lil click.
Action equals counteraction. Or your logic dictates that everybody pretend to be okay and that everything is originally planned. Be glad you've only waited two years instead of three!
Sounds like they are already from there to be honest, most of the rant has been said over there a hundred times, normally after some one questions GD's integrity and just before the ban hammer lands..... We've had Abby maybe its someone else's turn
As for the comment about lack of likes and comments, I can once again confirm that GD deletes any negative questions or comments on his posts, and on some occasions has even prevented any comments being made

When he gave the deadline of January 25th, 2019 which he announced in September or October of 2018 the animations were in development since at least then, that's at least 15-16 months. It doesn't really matter what was going on in the background because there is no excuse, animations don't take that long to make. Fatcat was either too busy or incompetent, so why not after 1 or 3 or 6 months didn't gumdrop say we're gonna get a different animator who can get these out quicker. Why wait 15-16 months to finally do that?
And the reason why gumdrop has not given any transparency into the delays is because there is no real reason gumdrop can give that makes him look good, especially when you consider that Fatcat is not incompetent and the fact that he put out a lot of work in the past 15-16 months.
This is a forum to discuss porn games. People enjoy talking about this game in particular because it's clear to anyone with half a brain cell that gumdrop is taking advantage of his supporters, yet he is getting massive amounts of money. It's interesting for people to point out how nothing gumdrop is doing makes sense because people keep believing his bullshit. It's a bizarre situation, why do you care if people enjoy talking about it lol?

This is impossible to explain if you assume that he is just a "milker"/slow as opposed to a scammer that is doing no work and leeching off an abandoned project.
After countless excuses that collapsed on their own it's clear that the scam is becoming harder to defend, hence the influx of shills lately (at least 1 of them from his discord). That's where people like you come in: you pretend to be a skeptic while promoting the idea that work is being done ("this time for real guys"), that the garbage the scammer writes has, by itself, any value. In reality, there is still no evidence and you can't get over that fundamental problem. That's why your efforts won't work. Go back to his discord if rational people tire you.
I will keep warning naive people about this scam for as long as I can. It has nothing to do with "sounding smart" but with undermining a scammer and helping other people. After all, it costs me nothing.
I woulld like to ask again: will mods consider an [Inactive] tag for cases like these with no development for more than 1 year? the [Onhold] tag is regularly used on games with honest devs, who admit they won't be doing anything for a while. Putting obvious scams like these under the same label is unfair to honest devs. Some differentiation is needed. It would be a nice addition to the forums considering that situations like these will likely become more common in the future.
This is the reason why these shills are so suspicious. Why would they care about people being "too tough" on someone they themselves claim not to trust? not a very natural position to have. Something tells me that they are afraid to be honest about themselves (like the discord shill caught before).

Why? Reading FatCat's twitter, you find him mention civil service before as well. But sometimes you don't necessary get a choice in the matter. In my country you can apply for the same, but you need to give a "valid" reason why you don't want to serve regular service. No idea how it's done in Finland though, but doubt it's a "pick and chose". More based on the need.
Him releasing the animations he had prepared in advance to release on a month by month basis, every 3 days instead to his Patreons, just come across as good "fan service".

Joshua, do you really not get it or are you truly just a shill? Fatcat, according to the sources gathered by the posters here, did a) put out a lot of his animations before he went to the army and b) now he will put out stuff he could not post before he went to service, within a rather short amount of time now. This Fatcat might be many things, but slow he is not!
Now this fracking a... named gumdrop announced the animations roundabout 1 1/2 years ago and that Fatcat would do them soon after. As it is quite obvious now, Fatcat would not need so long for the animations and more, definitely he would not leave before finishing and sending such "old" work" before going to the army as he did these days for a ton of other clients.
Shamed be he who thinks evil of it that gumdrop did not get the animations, at least according to himself.
There are only two scenarios: Either gumdrop never ordered animations from Fatcat at all or Fatcat delivered them months ago and is abused and shitted on by gumdrop, because this sinkhole of humanity is running out of excuses.
Everyone of the longtimers here knows that gumdrop is a proven chronic and compulsive liar and we already presaged early on that gumdrop would use Fatcat for excuses.

GD said that FatCat refunded him for the animation he was supposed to do but didn't do before going to the military. Well then, if he's switching to civil service mainly because this way he'll be able to animate, AND if he already mentioned civil service in the past, that makes me think he was not so granitic about the military choice, and always wanted to continue his animations. I ask myself then, WHY would FatCat accept to do just ONE animation for GD and refund the remaining one, if his idea was to keep animating anyways? I'm telling you guys, FatCat never mentioned GD in his twitter. I'm pretty sure at this point, that the poor guy is just a scapegoat, an unaware one at that.

Could be misremembering, but im pretty sure a while back someone posted a convo with him in this thread asking him about his work with gum drop, and he wouldn't talk about it, and just said "you need to talk to gumdrop about it".
So, if I am remembering that correctly, it would seem he is aware of the scapegoating, but it's still a question as to whether GD's blame is accurate or he's just been paid to keep quiet. I lean towards believing the latter.
