The update is over a year behind schedule, really it's like a year and a half. Wasn't his first release date in like July of 2018? I remember there was one in at least October or September of that year. 1.5 years behind because of animations, and only now has he started looking for a new animator lol.One Giant Dead, One Man Standing
Good news is one of the bastards (animations) are done, not the other though. FatCat is refunding me for the one that wasn’t completed before his military leave, meaning we’ll take the pieces and hand them off to another animator to wrap things up ASAP.
While FatCat's work was amazing and I'm excited to share it in Part X, the release is a year behind schedule; The animator we contract for 1 (one) animation will need to agree with the strict, short term deadline we set or it won't be initiated with said animator in the first place.
We’ve been doing our own looking the past few days between Act II dev; if you guys have a favorite Blender and/or Overwatch adult animator, DM their name and we’ll be sure to check them out/send a message if they’re viable and can meet the deadline set.
So far as an announced date, let us grab our animator first before jumping the gun for the nth time. Let's get the hell out of the woods once and for all
And he says now the animator will need to stick with a strict short term deadline to make it seem like the update will be out soon (and again, why didn't he do this much earlier and instead chose to delay the update by 1.5 years?) but you already know his next excuses are going to be how difficult it is to find a new animator, and I guarantee you we'll see him say he found a new animator and they'll miss the deadline.
If an update does ever come it won't be anytime soon. If it does ever come it will have taken over 2 years to complete, and it obviously won't have nearly enough content to live up to that much development time, because he spent the majority of that development time working on his excuses, not the game.
