The puckered asshole of the gumdrops Void farted out it's last cry,
and the mods had enough.

The endless debates on the warranty of the game being abandoned or not are over,
and the hammer has fallen that it IS abandoned.

The sycophants are enraged, 'HoW dArE tHeY' they cry, but we must hush them,
for it is all over now.

Tears sting their eyes as they look at their empty wallets, moths flying from them...And we look at them at say...
'Told ya.'

Perhaps, people will say it's unwarranted, after all, Gumdrops continues to promise...and promise...and promise...
But Gumdrops has tried too long to censor all criticism against his magnum opus and to constantly move the goal post on release dates.

Endless lies and promises sinking the plausibility lower and lower each time.

The only man responsible for sinking Gumdrops was himself,
the mods were incredibly lenient and fair on him, giving over two years for him to get his act together AND HE COULD NOT DO IT.

Will Gumdrops ever release the update?
Maybe.
And the cycle will begin again,

BUT:

At least he'd be forced to have made an effort to start the wheel again,
At least no people stumbling on this game will ever think it's anything other than abandoned.

...And with any luck, maybe even some of those discord sycophants who lurk around here (HI ABBY! Did you like Estate domination girl?)

Might finally, FINALLY get it.
Because Gumdrops is out of luck, and out of time,
And this tired old Captain has had enough of this Gumdrops Void.

Why? Reading FatCat's twitter, you find him mention civil service before as well. But sometimes you don't necessary get a choice in the matter. In my country you can apply for the same, but you need to give a "valid" reason why you don't want to serve regular service. No idea how it's done in Finland though, but doubt it's a "pick and chose". More based on the need.

Him releasing the animations he had prepared in advance to release on a month by month basis, every 3 days instead to his Patreons, just come across as good "fan service".

Wife & Mother and several more, 5 months milking money by doing nothing
Releasing and rendering of 100 jpg images is not even 2 weeks.

I work as an Photograph in my city, when some ROCK music band come to us in studio, to shoot A VIDEO FOOTAGE, That don't take barely 72 hours, rendering of Music Video not take more than a week or 2...but yet, here we go again, 5 months for dozen JPG images and zero animation...I CAN RENDER EVEN COW AND ALF FROM SPACE in that amount of time

I personally don't think this guy is a scammer or deserves so much negative feedback thrown at him. He did some great work til now. I do still support him and saw how much stuff he does and unlike many other devs, he updates everyone with his work.

I mean most people who throw so much negative feedback are just leechers anyway. Not sure what they're expecting with so much hate just don't bother with this game then.

What would you sue him for? Deceit? He had no legal obligation to provide anything and he wasn't necessarily lying when he provided excuses and he would definitely be able to prove that he did work on the game whenever he could.
You could have also pulled support away from him at any time, you were under no duress to continue supporting him. Any half-competent judge would laugh this case out of court. Unless he was also gumdrop's supporter (though that would prove he's less than half-competent).

No, the game on steam is the same as the one here. The game is abandonded and hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. All versions of the game on every website, here, steam, patreon, or otherwise are the same and none of will be be updated again.
