I'm still a bit confused as to why this game needed a new thread but I guess thats not important right now.

Got a bug a few days in where I had 0 raiders visit me and proceeding left me with a blank screen and no way to advance further.

I can't remember exactly how the previous game looked but I think it has improved visually (?). I thought there was some 1v1 action if the raiders reached the end, I got jacked so many times I'll get gud some other time.

As I've said in the past, this concept is top-notch and a great format for hosting a rapid-fire image game. PM me for mechanics and theory if you want input. GL

Dungeon Gaming you should review your if/then clauses, because once i hit rank 2 everything breaks. cant build more rooms, the enchanting room is entirely broken, when trying to build training room or monument i get the generic "doubleclick to edit" message with no exit other than rollback

Rank 2 isn't implemented yet To be fair, if anything the line checking if you reputation is full and ranking you up should be disabled in current build and assigned to a hyperlink or button rather then automated when entering your study.

There is a nice little blurb to the on the left side of your study saying Rank 2 isn't ready.

kinda makes sense since you cant go about building anything cause it says you dont have the money for it or of course the doubleclick message and you cant win any fights after you hit rank 2

I really like these types of games where you are the Overlord of some location, preferably some dungeon or castle. For people that have the same tastes "Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness" and the whole deception series are very good(non-erotic) games.

One more small request. Can you add an option to disable the tip that always appears at the top of the main page. I am not against cute catgirls by all means, but the tip is quite large and only useful for new players. So an option to hide it always would be appreciated.

Make sure your folder containing the game is like this :

gifs folder
images folder
slaves folder

it goes and grab pictures from a specific path, so you gotta keep it this way.


Seems like the biggest breaking bug so far is the one Tramdor mentionned. Once you reach "rank 2 available" and visit the study, you get the 2nd star but the game doesn't recognize you being rank 2 (as in you can't build more room and such) and it throw a bunch of errors everywhere, including during raids.
Also there are a few missing pictures for the slaves, like when you get to their specific page (where you can assign task / train / free) it shows a broken image icon.

I have my folder set up just like that myself but I still do not have any images

I don't have a problem with the concept of Zero raiders. Saying that, no raiders gives a blank screen, then I have to back page, which is the equivalent of loading from last save state, repeatedly, until I have at least ONE raider, so that the game will continue. So either a skip night until next night (loop to next night +1 nights), skip night until next night (oh no, no raiders, what now, as if nothing happened), skip night (special sub menu to allow whatever, wander around town/woods at night, etc.)

I'll blindly guess that you went in the study screen after reaching enough rep to rank up that's the main bug so far that mess up everything, including most stats for everyone, thus those bugged tokens happening.
Right now, it's best to avoid going into the study until the "trigger instead of link" error is fixed.

Accidentally, sold the wrong slave, went to sell the worthless slave, was allowed to infinitely sell the last slave. So the "Gold:" just kept climbing every time I clicked "Sell for 244 Gold" without ever leaving the page.

I don't really see the connection beyond how the in-game things could look like cards, but that way would make Boss Monster basically a rip off of MTG or Yugi-Oh
But I've never played Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game, can you describe it?

It was pretty good, I got to my first upgrades, and the gold wouldn't display and the enemies became really difficult. I think its an excellent concept. Will be looking for future updates.
