this game really comes down to managing Energy, as you need it to explore the dungeon, rest stops and items are the primary way to replenish energy, some events will also replenish it, there's also a pair of boots that randomly replenishes it. Breast Milk increases stats and also restores 1 Energy (need to buy Mama Maker from the cat merchant either in dungeon or at night in the Inn, also need Monica's stats to be at a certain point for her to use it while awake at rest points)
once your character is swimming in money, you can buy an item that permanently increases Energy by 1 for 30000G from the Old lady in the alley (can buy multiple, but alley is only available every now and then).
NTR is fully avoidable, just don't run out of energy and return to the Inn (also, padlocks, carry 6 as a failsafe) and make sure to have the guild's payments on time (very easy, as there are items that sell for 10000G+, I would recommend doing enemy camps whenever possible, as they have the best rewards).
