You get them randomly from the looting party. My guess is that the stronger your looting party, the higher the chance you'll get one after each defense phase.

Can you give more details? If you mean the research for capturing Mizuho does not appear after she enters the dungeon, then that is natural. All heroines from that chapter onwards will require more than one appearance in the dungeon to trigger the capture research.
