Doesn’t the end of game scene come up before that?I get chapter five is missing-- and crash
Yes, and you have the "right" to go to a vegan restaurant and complain that they don't serve meat, but you'll just make yourself look like a moron. "I'm displeased someone made a thing that caters to tastes different from mine" is such pointless whining it deserves nothing but ridicule. Especially when those whining have plenty of products that do cater to their tastes, they could consume instead.Mmm, but see, they do have the right to voice their displeasure about the whole thing.
That may be true once we have the revamped tagging system that actually gives you a sense for what they mean. Right now they can mean anything from a single scene related to the tag, and often avoidable, to it being the sole focus of the game and completely unavoidable. If you don't often open threads with tags you actively avoid to try and determine the difference, you're missing out on a lot. That depends. Was the joint clearly marked "Shit Burgers"?
Because if so, then yes, you should eat without complaint, or never bother coming if that doesn't sound appealing. You knew what you're getting.
Morons who see the tag but choose to enter the thread anyway just to complain about it don't deserve any defense.
Except in this particular case the whole discussion started with a guy who didn't like the game hasThat may be true once we have the revamped tagging system that actually gives you a sense for what they mean.
female protagonist. There's no real ambiguity to speak of here. There's no "best time" for people to try to sway the devs to alter their design to accommodate whatever kink they are into. If it was planned, good for you. If it wasn't, you're doing the same thing people complain the patrons do, slow down development (extra content doesn't make itself) and turn the game into messy shit just so it caters to them personally.I'd save that line of argument for people coming into a 1 year or older thread begging for tags to be included or removed. The best time to give feedback is right after a game is released.
There is, in fact, ambiguity.Except in this particular case the whole discussion started with a guy who didn't like the game hasfemale protagonist. There's no real ambiguity to speak of here.
Please. The guy's complaint was based directly on him taking the tag at face value. He didn't think there's any ambiguity here. Simply complained that the game has female protagonist which he does not like. As if anyone gave an actual fuck that a rando on the intrawebs doesn't play porn games with female protagonist. There is, in fact, ambiguity.
Assuming quite a bit there - they could have opened the thread uncertain and then read the description or other comments to confirm. But given that the specific post you keep referencing went on to mention this is a prequel, they seem to be familiar with the original. So, once again, it's entirely possible that they, like many people in this thread have joked about, opened the thread thinking it was the original.Please. Although it's true the current tagging system is somewhat ambiguous, you're missing the actual point of the argument here. This is about people COMPLAINING about tags or lack of certain tags, in the context of their preferences. Not missing tags or ambiguous tags. If someone comes in and asks "Hey, is this game focused on "insert tag here" and if not is it avoidable?", that's completely fine! There's nothing wrong with that at all. However, as soon as you come in saying: "Oh, this game has swinging/sharing AND the harem tag, we all know how that ends up! You don't combine these tags!" or something along those lines, you're just being a nuisance, and they know exactly what they're doing. That's just one example, there are a lot of other common whining complaints I see of a similar nature. That may be true once we have the revamped tagging system that actually gives you a sense for what they mean. And that's a very disingenuous argument considering this is based on (and looks like) an original game that didn't have that tag. Of course fans are going to open the thread regardless of tags.
I'd save that line of argument for people coming into a 1 year or older thread begging for tags to be included or removed. The best time to give feedback is right after a game is released.
Sigh. OK, even presuming that they might've been uncertain, that still makes the whole pointless complaint entirely on them: "i have assumed that maybeAssuming quite a bit there - they could have opened the thread uncertain and then read the description or other comments to confirm.
Shit Burgers didn't really sell shit burgers. But then it turned out to be actually true." isn't in any shape a justification to complain about the content that matches the tag.
