The info cards are based on the information that the mc has from each character, if he thinks Mao is not his daughter it makes sense for it to say step-daughter. When I suggested that the mc is actually Mao's father and he raped Hiroko, it was all based on information the game gives us. In the past time stories we learn that the mc has this dark side that he has some trouble controlling. And we get one scene with Maki where he loses control for a few moments and almost rapes her. It's possible that he got drunk, lost control with Hiroko and raped her. Hiroko doesn't want him to hate himself for what he did and decides to tell him that she cheated. If I am remembering correctly the game also mentions a couple of times that the mc hasn't got drunk in a long time, that could also be a hint.

Unless you have the dark minds patch, then you miss content like this. I've only played the game with the patch, and I think it's much better this way, you get to see the entire story

Even with the patch she is gone for almost the entire game.

Maybe we aren't talking about the same one. I was talking about Yuki the youngest daughter, you don't really interact much with her the whole game.

Oh, yeah she has a bit of content much further on but really not much, I thought you meant the 2nd youngest, the youngest is not in the game much

You play them separately. You also have to install the patches for each week if you want to play the full content.

Separately, or wait for the Month 1 merge. Month 1 is supposed to come with a bunch of bug fixes, implements mechanics better and will be the one way to carry forward saves into any new content that releases after Month 1 releases. The downside being, that it could still be a few months before it releases due to be a massive overhaul. It depends if you want to play higher quality or play right now.

No Christmas or New Years Special I can live with that since Month 1 is more important. But I'm a little sad that there isn't going to be any of the girls wearing nothing but a red bow setting under the tree this year.

Ngl, you may as well wait a month until the next update is out. If you figure it all out now and play you'll lose your progress anyway. Because they are merging all the weeks together, and saves will then be compatible forever. With this merged update. Meaning you'll have to replay the whole game if you play with this current format, which is very large, when the next update arrives
If you want to play it now still, then week 1 has its final patch, as does week 2, and for week 3 is called day 20-21, but that should include the entirety of week 3 (The naming of it is very poor).
P.S when the merge arrives, I assume it'll be 1 file, and so it should have only 1 patch. Logically thinking. So it'll also be much easier to apply the patch and play it normally. Rather than as it currently is, which is all separate
