I was patron for three years, until last week.the real question is.. why is it so damned important to people who aren't even patrons?.. get over it already.. that horse died months ago!!
These things happen, game will bounce back and when you feel Bluecat has earned it, you may become a patron once again when the regular updates start back up in force.I was patron for three years, until last week.
Aye, sameI was patron for three years, until last week.
I think it's too late to abandon the merge now. Not only because it's been too long, and it would look terrible. But because it means everything that's currently broken will remain broken for a long time. If they started fresh from now, it would take another year at least to remake the game, based on how this has been. Apparently they are nearly done with it, so it would make sense to finish it and move from thereThis is quickly getting into the " WTF is going on, this is ridiculous" territory. I do however think the devs aren't intentionally milking. I think they've realized their coding is really bad and they've spent the past months trying to unweave the code they've woven and can't figure out how to make it work.
The best course of action, if they can't figure out how to make it work soon, is to abandon the merge and just split the game like DMD and some of the other larger games are. Start fresh with new code, instead of trying to fix the unfixable.
I think I voted for the merge, the additional bonus in the game seemed good at the time. But surely I'd voted against it if I'd know that the game itself would stop completely for months and months. If I rememeber correctly, Blue said that updates (specials and episode set in the past) would pop up more or less costantly even during the merge.Might I ask, did you choose for the lumped up Merges or did you make one of the other votes? Simply curious, and I completely understand why you would stop supporting when there is legit no output.
I've heard that before... usually shortly before a game is abandoned. It wont be abandoned
just search : [bluecat] ecchi yuki gameAlso I tried but couldn't find the Yuki game
Then don't be surprised if people are "too unmotivated" to give you what you want. At least your honest about being too lazy to do your own research.I'm too lazy to read through several hundred posts since I was last here... What's the latest? Did the other dev ever return, or is anything else happening?
Development on merge is in home stretch, but unsure of timeframes until there is a playtest version sent out.I've heard that before... usually shortly before a game is abandoned.

Also I tried but couldn't find the Yuki game someone mentioned a long time ago. Don't know if it still exists... or maybe I'm just going crazy and my brain is inventing things that never happened. Also a possibility...
And people are giving it the attention it deserves...again.i write this again - xmas/ny special wasn't released - it is first step to don't give them money in patronite. Before that they do special and normal releases in time... now they all try merge it and nothing show for that, only few words about new problems...
Because it sounds like it's written by a 45yo child molester trying to make himself sound like a 7yo girl.just search : [bluecat] ecchi yuki game
you won't find it here on f95
Yeah, that was a mistake. I voted against it after the disaster of the week 1 merger. I remember blue promising that the merger would go smoothly and wouldn't take longer than a regular update, but after the wreck that was the week 1 merger I doubted he could pull it off and looks like I was right, this merger is going much worse than the last one.I think I voted for the merge, the additional bonus in the game seemed good at the time. June 20, 2020 was when 20+21 came out, Almost a year for a merge. I regret voting for the merge back then. I was under the impression it would speed up the process of updates. That was a foolish mistake.Yeah, that was a mistake. I voted against it after the disaster of the week 1 merger. The sandbox was getting implemented regardless, I think. So, the vote wasn't motivated by that. It's still a visual novel though. The "sandbox" just adds optional scenes. No grinding or anything.Considering that updates were going to a pretty fast clip, like seriously, just check out how many days were released between January-June of 2020. I have absolutely no idea why any patron would have voted for the merge. Were they that unsatisfied by the visual novel style that they just needed those sandbox elements?
Vote was about how we wanted merges handled, all at once, spread out, or bite sized pieces. All at once is the clearly best solution as it gets all the pain and suffering out of the way in one giant go, and the foundation becomes settled which means no more major headaches from here on out on major systems breaking.Considering that updates were going to a pretty fast clip, like seriously, just check out how many days were released between January-June of 2020. There were some delays in the month 1 merge and then one of the key devs got sick. Dev is better now and work is underway, hopefully there will be an update soon but not timeframe has been given.did anybody knows why there is no updates up till now its been so long
hope the developers are okay
