Here is more cover-up, silence, secrecy and conspiracies than in the entire politics ?!?
I thought this was about a game and an extremely long waiting time including technical problems and not about world domination or the next holy king ???

But now really quite honestly:
I love Ecchi Sensei very much and thoroughly enjoyed the available 3 weeks a lot
I also considered supporting BC via Patreon.
But after spending countless hours on the forum, I really don't know if I can even call this "thing" a project anymore.
Apparently no statement is really true, a "real" statement from BC I have found none ???
And the "press officer" knows apparently EVERYTHING, but is not allowed to talk about it.
(Which I think is a rather questionable decision, but who am I).

And now my personal question:
Can I in good conscience invest my few €, which I have left, here?

Number 1, don't give money if you are not able to, that's just a fact, nobody needs it that bad.

Number 2, I know enough, not everything, and most of it I've told you all. The only time I'm not allowed to talk about it is when its very much not set in stone as to what's happening and so I don't go around making incorrect statements.

Now, on to questions! Since I chose to adopt Alice's character as a supporter since her original ditched her, what do you guys figure is gonna be the new direct with her moving forward? I will remind you Alice is the asshole ginger bitch who keeps trying to cockblock us.

Personally, I don't like the idea of "living down to her expectations." She was somewhat yandere so I could understand going that route, but I'd prefer the option to "win her over" somehow such as with Christa.

4: I'd probably freak. Yuki is there, and that's not my jam. Excluding her though? More than you'd think, less than you'd hope.

From a narrative perspective, I see her to much of a threat to the girls under my care (yes, I'm aware of the hypocrisy), and from a meta perspective, it feels like she's holding other routes hostage behind hers. I'd like to pursue Chiaki and Haruka without the need for mind control. Her last scene was hot that, so silver lining, I guess.

Nah, wait it out. Things look like they may be turning to the positive, but you never know what fuck up happens next. Best to wait until a few updates release, then see if you want to put the money in later.

Let me clairify something everyone seems to miss: you can't pirate free games. And believe it or not Illusion owns the rights to any work produced using their software. Its a sketchy bit of legal ground, but no one can really afford to challenge it. Daz3D model creators have a lot of rights too even if you purchase the models, you don't neccesarily purchase permission to use them for profit.

The Devs in general are using patreon to side step copyright issues by being donated to directly and giving games for free.

There are only maybe a small handful of games here that are actually pirated. If anything we are a porn game community.

Saying playhome models were custom designs, but if you know playhome, there is not such thing. There is always a base model. While Blue did adjust the characters to be unique in look from the base game, his statement implied something a lot more than just adjusting sliders and changing hair/textures.

And bringing to light the "I already know the answer" somethings are just best left not said than said. Thats the counterproductive. It opened a bees nest with that.

Assuming "Go Fuck yourself" sits at 10 (to keep things manageable): About a 5 - She's fuckable, potentially useful, and crazy can be fun, as long as it's controllable.

I don't believe in lying so I did say honestly I do hold information that I am not always at liberty to discuss, however I do say everything that is applicable. As I described, it is because anything I don't tell you hasn't actually been set in stone, and I do not wish to have to go back and correct my errors for speaking up before the time needed.

Beyond that, while you may have a point, I will also remind you that just because there is a base model that all renders start off from-does not mean that simply all character designs are just reimaginations of that base model. Since Playhome actively has character cards, I would argue that each time you create a unique design style that isn't being done by anyone else, that is a custom model, whether or not its from the same base as every other custom character you make in playhome.

The purpose isn't to say "Oh Bluecat is so skilled to be able to do all this basic shit that anyone can with enough practice" its my statement that you really do not find these character designs anywhere else. Whereas I can most assuredly tell you I find plenty of character models repeated in a multitude of games because tis just easier to cut and paste for some.

I simply mean to say that Ecchi Sensei has a unique cast of character designs, which is true, and that helps to add to its own individual charms and part of what makes t so popular for people.

All of this aside, it is aright if you are wary of me, I don't deny its hard to trust anyone about anything really. I won't judge you but I'd like you to give me the benefit of the doubt on this, I haven't done anything that would point to me being untoward and I'd like it better if I could not be treated as though I'm doing something wrong. I won't attack you for the position but I'd prefer if it you would trust me as I have little to gain from deception and a lot more to lose in integrity and credibility otherwise.

As well if you have issue with how I choose to address everyone, then my apologies, I won't deny also that I'm still not the greatest at this. I can admit to being incompetent and prone to falters, its part of the learning curve. Bear with me as I learn how to better address issues and critiques, in the same way I bear with others lobbing incredulous statements around everywhere when things get heated.

Also thank you to those taking part in my little question roundabout, I find it hilarious none of you are trying your hand at the fruit question, I'll post my own answers up later on :3

its worth donating to. not saying dont or do but support at min is a good enough thing for the game dev atm since updates are not really being pumped out enough... i love the game but me having replayed the game over 3 times for different outcomes got me to play other games out of waiting for more. still tho i rate 4 out of 5 still since its not done yet and so far game makes me happy to play more than once.

he has put a pause in a sense. the patreons could change their pledges so that when the time it came to pay they either pay less or none at all from what i read. there is a update a few pages back on that info.

month 1 merge is first then after there will be updates to add more.
you mean like this? ok sure WHY NOT THEN... im kinda pissed off that having to see posts about ppl being mad about how this game dev does things and etc etc... if i cant reply MY take on how the game is doing then i dont know why the hell this thread exists then. but sure ill be doing this then when i post a more RECENT one and just edit it with the posts that are here to make it more "neat".

By the way cavaemon , just a little point of forum etiquette. If you want to post right after your own post, just edit your original post and add to it. Occasionally a second post in a row is not terrible, but to post over and over again in a row, without someone else posting first, is bad form. I just edit my last post and add whatever I want to say, then it is easier to read for the other users, and it doesn't look like you are spamming the thread, which I know you are not doing.

Wouldn't it be better to download ONE game, instead of 3 "weeks" + a lot of specials?

I actually think the opposite would have been better. Instead of making every release a new part of a larger game, maybe that should have treated each week as a stand alone release. That way they could improve each week as they go, instead of worrying about fixing the problems with the older stuff in order to intergrade it with the new stuff.

Sort of a Catch-22.

Continuity across the entire game seems to be pretty important. If the programmers had had the skills to provide continuity between standalone releases from the beginning (or even since the W1 merge) we wouldn't be having this discussion IMO.
