With that being over 15 months ago he should have released that sometime last year and everyone would not be down in the dumps about this great game that got abandoned.
MTL based translations, it's a standard sized update that has had the renders done for at least a year if not more, and script is written fully as while I am not allowed to disperse it, I did read and run it through translation to test shit for Blue. The only thing I would say would be the reason its been held up so long is because Bluecat kept holding out hope things would rectify, now that they're clearly not its putting out what's left of the dumpster that has been on fire for a year and a half now. Nothing on team, this is all Blue doing it himself in the background.

Even if it does come out, why "great"? That's "tiniest of baby steps" at this point, not "great". The absolute minimum I would need to see before I began to think about giving BC money again would be a year of multiple on-time, quality updates. And that's what would get me to think about it, not to actually do it.

If he fucks this up I'm jumping ship and saving my own ass and reputation, I can still recover this as a dumb idiot who made poor decisions later. I can't recover if I try to defend him failing the simple task of putting his game shit together and tossing it out to the masses. I think I said it before but basically if he doesn't commit to this and get it done, I'll bail and leave him to handle the shitstorm.

One quick follow up to this. I can understand how he initially wanted to wait for the merge but now that he's decided to just push ahead and has even gone ahead with the MTL, what's the hold up? Script, images, and coding are all done. MTL should be very fast considering it's a computer doing the work (meaning even the entire month 1 script should be able to be translated in under a day using MTL assuming the program was made even halfway decently). Most of the proofreading would be done during the alpha release so there really shouldn't be anything else left to do before releasing. Surely confirming (or even call it speculating if that's better for you) what's left to be done in the final stretch before the release should be something you can tell us.

Glad to see his doing MTL then after he originally asked his community then said no afterwards. I'll still wait on the proof that comes in the update but it's at least one good thing and I hope they stick with MTL with minor alterations since it's as good if not superior than what was before and provides one less thing to drag the game even further into the abyss.

You can still guess pretty easily how much he is making. It's pretty sad to see his income decrease at the rate it has been decreasing, since the game is really good in my opinion.
