Unless someone has made a patch for the JAST version, the fan translation is the way to go.
The fan one has quite a bit more content and brought stuff over from previous versions the JAST one didn't.

Not really.
Just that the game ends early if you beat it without conquering Babylon.

Does anyone know how to get cape town? I literally conquered all countries except Britain yet and I still haven't gained Cape Town and I don't know if that affects the true ending.
Go through the missions giving gold, in one of them there will be a restoration Cape Town
In the True ending only a couple of lines where gg returns and talk with Himiko
