Was never a fan of this guy's work but if the people who usually like his work don't like this, than maybe it's different enough that it might be more to my taste. The art sure is a heck of a big improvement though.

For those who crash with the error message, I found a placebo that solves the problem. You must download the Japanese version which can be found here in Ubik's message: https://f95zone.to/threads/emblem-knightess-nord-the-mark-of-lewdness-v1-00-ahriman.44063/ page 6
Then you take the Graphics folder and you copy it. Then, you copy it on that of your version, but attention you must not delete that of your version, you must copy the Graphics folder of the Japanese version on your Graphics folder. In the end, you will have a Graphics folder with both Japanese content and English translated content.
When the game searches for a file in English, it will find it, and when it searches for a file in Japanese, it will also find it.

No offense but even if game doesn't crash, it will stuck in some kind of loop when you are defeated due to script error(?)

This game is broken on many many levels with the translation. You might be better off waiting for now until the translator can get it working. I don't think this translation was anywhere ready to be released. Surprised all these errors were not caught in play testing.
Best suggestions I can give is basic Troubleshooting. Make sure you have the latest patch of the translation. Also I think I remember seeing this error associated with locale, so you could try a different locale emulator to run it. if you do try making sure your antivirus has an exemption for the game (avast especially hates this game). If none of that works you could try re downloading from a different link or using a different unpacking tool (I recommend 7zip as opposed to winrar but either or)
if none of that works for you then I don't know unfortunately.

Ahriman's games are well known for use of heavy scripting which bogs down translation efforts very seriously (kinda reason we dont have any translated except Aoi short one and Asagi which also burned out the translator at 84%)
The main problem here is that this is IMO a low effort MTL with broken combat masquerading as complete translated game. In fact the translation request thread for this game has similar version (not same, the translation differs at several points) with same combat problems and more accurately described as work of passion. This is an ongoing project that has no place here tagged as [Complete].
In short, yes this problematic to translate, but it shouldnt be here but in the translation forums.
