It's a text based version of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy game but featuring Touhou characters and with porn.

More like Striver for Power meets Paradox games. The character art is excellent, but of course it's a text adventure.
I tried the game and was presently surprised. The gameplay is deep and the freedom is incredible.

It has 2D art (facial expressions, clothing removal).
But all other information is conveyed via text, which is why it's a text game.

Imagination. There's a whole genre of smut books people get off to. It can be hotter sometimes to not display graphic images/animations if the writing is good and you can actually imagine shit. I dunno, maybe it's because I grew up reading a lot but I've never had an issue with text games. Text and non text are both good for different reasons.
