It removes all meaningful choices from a game. If you have a game where the only choice you have is the colour of the ice cream you order for example, that is something that should be considered as a kinetic novel. Completely unavoidable sex scenes is already something that a lot of F95 tends to dislike, and for good reason, and it makes even less sense in a game that has had some decent amount of choices in the earlier updates.Removing the choice to skip individual sex scenes does not remove all choices from the game. This game is a visual novel.
A visual novel isn't a game, a visual novel is literally a visual novel. Correct term would be visual novel software, as a game explicitely notes agency and interactivity.
EDIT- I also want to note that I think a lot of people are apprehensive about the precedence being set.
The Fiona scene is apparently unavoidable if you've interacted with her sexually before (I haven't played the update but that seems to be how it is), and that isn't exactly comforting, especially given the routes available and how they're written.
Imagine if you're interacting with an LI in a game and you decide to kiss, and two updates later you're unavoidably being spitroasted between her and her best friend or some shit without the ability to say no simply because of a choice you made several updates ago. This is a problem no matter how you look at it, even if it's something that the dev wants to do, it isn't exactly something that a lot people will be alright with.
