ended up playing without waiting for the update or the rework. i'll restart it, for sure, when they drop.
game is very good. dialogs are a bit weak (but i've been spoiled with greatness from other works) but the story is interesting enough to carry it all until the end, even if it's a bit cliché.

I was wondering something though. Melanie is supposed to avoid people as much as she can since she was a kid that suffered a ton of betrayal, yet she seems to have a ton of sexual experience too, probably isn't a virgin anymore. how is that even possible at all ? there is no way she would get close enough to any guy.
it would be more understandable if Jessie got some experience as she is the social butterfly of the family even if she is shy.
same for MC, he is said to be handsome, so he should have got the attention of at least a few girls growing up. it was brushed off as him being too focused on his family. the only explanation would be that Emily being bullied and MC constantly glued to her made it hard for girls to approach him without consequences, but there should have been a girl or two that would push through that to try if we believe that all the girls and goddesses are all over him during the game story.

Also, the fact she says MC is so good at this can be a lot of things, doesn't imply she was with a lot of people too.

I don't say I'm 100% right and you are 100% wrong, maybe I'm wrong or not, but with what we know dans with what we can interpret, nothing makes me believe that Melanie was with a lot of people.

Lot of possibilites here, maybe she had a boyfriend with whom she did some things but her betrayed her really bad? Maybe not? We don't know exactly but it's look like she doesn't have a ton of sexual experience like you said. We didn't see dialog about MC knowing Melanie has some boyfriends, her mom also never said something about her daughter's dating live, so we don't know for sure. At most, she probably has little to some experience, if my understanding is correct.

For the MC, you see him differently when he moved, but it's still very plausible that subconsciously he was afraid and/or didn't want to let people in his life. The fact that he was in love with his sisters can also play in that mindset, again like I said, subconsciously.

You are making some pretty strong assumptions based on pure speculation that is unsupported in the game so far.

Knowing Prom, it is very highly likely that Melanie IS a virgin. His comments about her in Discord confirm it, too: in response to someone asking for her to have a genital piercing, he specifically said she wouldn't have let anyone outside the family near her pussy. Also, even in the highly unlikely event that she is not, dialogue will not bring it up, because it's not going to be relevant to the story if she isn't.

Age doesn't give you an answer about virginity... We have confirmed virgins significantly older than Melanie. There is even a character literally multiple thousands of years old who has retained her virginity specifically to give to the MC.
Apparent experience also doesn't give you an answer about virginity, because porn exists. I have personally been with two definitively-confirmed virgins who were quite good at BJs/HJs due to having watched porn, and one of them was significantly more experienced at cunnilingus than I am, but was still a virgin.

Added it to the mod post, sorry about that. I was in a hurry when someone told me the mod was breaking, turns out it was f95 having a fit, so I didn't get time to make sure it was actually working when I added the 0.5.1 version.

When I click on the rpy file to download, it takes me to a page with a bunch of codes... And honestly, with all this talk about rework, the dev focused on another game, and apparently the game is far from receiving an update (as the friend above said, maybe at Christmas) I really lost the desire to play. Sorry :/

The post saying Christmas was an unsourced guess. The rework only covers the first 10% or so of the game, and the rest will be unchanged or only changed in minor ways due to certain characters' route pathing being slightly adjusted (like Aria's). The game is fully playable right now, and it's entirely possible the rework won't even require new saves if you don't want to go back and play the reworked content.

Dawnchaser is not a new and unrelated game; it is a significantly shorter side story of this game. During development of 0.6, the dev started making it as a way to avoid burnout on the main Evermore game. A lot of people place undue importance on their own assumptions, and treat those assumptions as guaranteed future events without any real basis, often comparing this to devs in wildly different situations from Prom. We also know that Dawnchaser's first update is near completion, and is as large as multiple Evermore releases at once (thus the longer delay). 0.6 will not take anywhere close to as long as Dawnchaser did.

As for the mod, you will want to learn some basic file management for any game you play from this site (or most other sites). If clicking on an attachment opens text, that means F95 is letting your browser read the file directly instead of prompting a download like a good forum site would. In those cases, just right-click the file and choose "Save Link As.." or something similar depending on your browser. Then, like any mod, you put the contents of the mod's "game" folder into the game's "game" folder and overwrite any files it wants to overwrite. For this mod specifically, you also, afterwards, add the script.rpy file fix into the game's "game" folder and overwrite the file. Next version probably won't require this extra step.

Based on the incredible text, I'm going to try to give it a chance, it's just that I've been disappointed when it comes to 18+ games, and it ends up tiring me out, always the same clichés. Anyway, I'll see if I can play, if I can I'll come back here and tell you what I think. Sorry, English is not my original language.
