I made a little tweak using 3Dmigoto to get rid of the hard shadows at higher settings. You know that stuff where just moving the camera will cast a harsh shadow over the characters. While the low setting in-game would disable the hard shadow, it also does not use any shadow at all. The characters look flat and lacks the better sub surface scattering in high settings. Also I think the hair has more depth in high setting.
Basically what this 3Dmigoto tweak does is that I went through Alet of shaders 1 by 1 to find which caused the hard shadows. Then I put the shaders hashes in the config file to skip them whenever they are used.
Drop the files in the same directory where KiritoMod049 executable is stored if you want to use this.

Check out how Alet's face is completly in shadow by just moving the camera. Dreamers body is also in shadow when looking from above. I have only tested this in gallery so far. This should also make the 3D tridef config I made work better with high settings.

I play Clash Royale, and I can safely say that Clash Royale is notorious for being very poorly monetized with microtransactions and subscriptions. They also offer a "Season pass" for $5 a month, which is the only way to play the game properly without being smashed by people who "Pay to win."
I hope this game isn't going in that direction even if I'm not paying for it (Lmao).

ah yes, the age old "free to suffer, paid to butcher" kind of game.
war thunder is also in that bucket, though not quite as bad.
and I really think Operation Lovecraft is going in the exact same direction. If these guys piss me off enough I'll learn to make an offline version myself, already got years of uni behind me anyway
New update in server is just some kinda irrelevant stats. (There's more than these two, I just don't wanna try and screen the the large overly spaced list.)

Aha, this was easy. Thank god for non lazy people.
Galateas model looks high quality. They have some really talented artists working on the characters. What's actually stopping them from releasing an update?

Bait, prolonging hype, revenue decrease upon release, doesnt even exist aside paper design or you can go with their claims "censored or not appropriate" or whatever that is.
Currently one of main reasons for funding is Galatea (Im one of those folks), and if they did release her and people disappointed with her, one of their main source might drop a lot.
Not to mention the obvious drawback of not wanting to get banned from Steam for pornographic content depicting a child. Galatea was basically dead the moment they chose Steam as a distribution channel, excuses like "she's technically a robot" or "she's actually a 3,000 year old alien" aren't going to fly.
Helius has referred to some of his characters blatantly as lolis before releasing on Steam (And suggestively young lore). Which goes directly against steam policy. So with the crowd of people who hate him and a track record of admitting to breaking their rules he can't release her or Yanshi without risking his game being taken down.

Basically some flavour text, some renders of two models and a bit of (surprise surprise) concept art.Interesting that Helius claims to have hired two character artists. They post new characters and assets literally constantly, render and concept art are this Patreon's primary output at this point, do they really need more? Given that they've only actually managed to get three main characters into the game and one map out the door it just strikes me as weird.
They've posted enough still renders of characters and other assets over the years to make multiple games, we've never seen so much as a whiff of actual gameplay and it just took them 8 months for a "rebuild" that by all accounts seems to have added genital dilation and done an optimization pass over the game... if anything it sounds like they need devs.
This is some superior VR fuckin right here - monitoring this thread because it looks like the pancake version is ahead in updates and the VR one is behind - but maybe that's just the current release from dev.
Everyone once in a while the sounds mess up so I gotta swap out characters but otherwise it's flawless
