Not necessarily, I do believe this project will come out eventually. The problem with this project is the lack of transparency when it comes to the implementation of its features and unnecessary changes regarding the original plans for this game. Gacha is one of the worst offenders and an online mode that is clunky, creepy, and greedy "forcing" you to spend more money than you already did (If you bought or funded this game.)this project dead?
Do you actually believe it's ever going to achieve the release state and be sold as a full game anywhere? Man.... There are just way too many indie 3D porn games with AA and even AAA graphic fidelity out there that have never been finished after more than 4 years. No, they are just going to keep milking those thristy wallets and never call it done. Why would they? They have a recurrent income that will keep flowing till the game is finished lol I know I would never finish it, I would keep announcing new features, new mechanics, new systems (Wild Life comes to mind), patching things, changing things, adding this and that (Fallen Doll) so that the game would never be finished lmfao And this is exactly what ALL developers have been doing the last 5 years, from adeptus steve... to Helious... to Eromancer....Not necessarily, I do believe this project will come out eventually. But no, the project is not dead. The development team is making progress but they are clearly taking all the time they can to get more money from Patreon.
This game will be released sometime in the future, but not in the way the grand majority of its player base wanted.

Lmao isn't this exactly what he said with the Origins build? Do they even have the combat mode in phase 2 still, or was that dropped as well?"OK, we stripped all the content so we're going to call it done and story mode will come later (pinky promise)."
I do believe this game will be finished someday, but I never said it will be a fully-fledged release, without features locked behind season passes and everything of the kind. When this game is finally released, it will not be consumer friendly at all.Do you actually believe it's ever going to achieve the release state and be sold as a full game anywhere? Man.... The only crowdfunded 3D game with AA graphic fidelity that has been finished recently is Subverse, which on the other hand, has recieved a lot of shit, for whatever reason.
So.... yeah... excuse me if I press X to doubt lol
The funniest thing about this whole online-only DRM nonsense is traditionally developers needed to protect sales because the publisher who fronted them the money expect to be paid back in full + interest. Helius keeps blowing this piracy horn while conveniently ignoring the fact he doesn't need to pay anyone back, the project's fully funded by rubes who expect nothing but a game in return.
This is what bothers me too. He keeps going on about how vulnerable singleplayer games are to piracy and how he's doing the online thing to protect his poor team from starving, all while he's already made so much cash with this stupid project they could all retire to a remote island and jerk off all day without a care in the world. The funniest thing about this whole online-only DRM nonsense is traditionally developers needed to protect sales because the publisher who fronted them the money expect to be paid back in full + interest. Helius doesn't even have the decency togivetease them a game they expected and overpaid for, just a service that he can pull the plug on at any time.
It is not about paying back publishers, there are plenty of games that without DRM would still make ton of money. But it is a simple math for them, if they can spend 100k on DRM and make 1mil back because of reduced piracy they will go for it. It really doesn't matter if the game made 200mil so that 1 mil is a drop in a pool. The funniest thing about this whole online-only DRM nonsense is traditionally developers needed to protect sales because the publisher who fronted them the money expect to be paid back in full + interest. More money is more money. If you make 1k you want to make 2k, if you make 5k you want to make 10k, if you make 100k you want to make 200k. At which point it is greed? I think he has full right to want to maximize profit by combating piracy. This is what bothers me too. Ah look it's end of the month and Helius with the last minute update to keep people from unsubing. I wonder if he will actually release the update today and risk that people will be unhappy about Galatea. Or do the usual - say tomorrow and then wait few days till it's new month.View attachment 2132110
I can't wait to see Galatea with her double D tits now.
Don't forget the 4K textured vaginal pubes wich tooks 6 months to be designed by the guy Helius poached from MihoyoView attachment 2132110

Well would you look at that? Well over 24 hours since that post and not a damn thing. Truly the master of bullshitting.Ah look it's end of the month and Helius with the last minute update to keep people from unsubing. Can't wait to see someone create a character preset of her for Illusion's games with probably better good looking and stuff.
From the start is where it is greed, because it's one thing to be partly driven by money and a completely different thing to scrap an entire long-awaited game idea and turn it into dogshit just to rack in bankMore money is more money. No, I'm not gonna be happy lol, because this could've been a great project I would've spent money on GLADLY under different leadership. I already paid for ARK, Lorain, Telepurte's art, Terraria, etc etc just because I loved all of these (or spent a lot of time playing in ARK's case...fuckin hate that game lol) even though I could've just pirated them and moved on, and more people are willing to do the same, but greedy bastardds don't even allow us to pay for stuff we don't need to pay for because we start hating the product just because of their creatorIn a way we should be happy that he wants to make more. I mean if he could retire right now then only his desire to make pushes him to continue whatever work he is doing and releasing the gacha eventually.
