But with the amount of people here and around others who are fed up, its possible through our compined computing power to topple the norm and do something truly never done before and to show "companies" like Helius and the like "Fake devs who milk VN's and their fanbase for whatever reason. *See line 5 of the beginning of my post for usual excuses*
With the collective direction of a classic-oldtimey-pitchfork and laterns filled with kerosene mob, if 3-5 knowledgable programmers/devs/project leaders could put their brave as fuck foot forward, I am thinking 4 minimum as per each lead would oversee their own respective haystack of pissed of patreon supporters that have worked/knowledgable in their respective division. Something like General Management/Timeline Overseer - Coding - Artwork/Voice Actors - Promotion/PR -Bugtesters.
Insane? Hell yea it is. Probable? Long shot. BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE. If one day you looked back at your e-thug days and can say you did take a swing at the corrupt assholes who sit and manipulate your wallet through social subversion and misleading game propoganda just to sweat more money from you......that you took a swing and even if it doesn't work...you will be happy you at least tried. Hell, I might just be spinning my own wheels, but with the way things are going and the rapid decline of actual content, and the increase of drm and "copyright" content will only get worse. Art is art. But you can't make a game without either time invested or tons of money. So lets try to tackle it with a swarm approach. We got the numbers. If we got 500 people *Is he fucking nuts?* people to do a minor few lines of code, or could contribute with their expetise on their specific field for a couple of hours. Do you understand the impact that is possible?
I'll go first. I can mix and master at least 50% of the music / soundtrack for the overall game. I love what I do and im damn good at it. I can also help with timeline management and helping the other dev leads setting up and general idea of how we can genuinly implement this absurd idea. THIS RELIES ON PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE DONATING THEIR TIME! ITS NOT PERFECT, BUT HOW MUCH MORE DOES THE GAMING COMMUNITY NEED TO SUFFER BEFORE THESE FALSE GAME DEVS GET SHOWN UP.
