I feel like gathering enough manpower to make a game would require a lot of time, which I don't have right now...and I'm guessing not many others either...
I'd love to be part of that though.
I'm myself already saying fuck OL by making my own animations in HS2 and to be honest, that's muuuch simpler than making a game from scratch.
I want to make a HS2 plugin that allows me to play in the studio as if it's a 'real game' as well (animated walking, interacting with NPC's to start animations with them, talk, get them to follow, whatever, kinda like wild life does things)
This is a more realistic plan, in my eyes XD

dude I just realised it's been almost a month since the supposed 'release' and nothing's functional lol
They retroactively called the new update a stress test so that makes it okay for everything to be completely broken.

The dev is delusional if he thinks he'll be able to fix the game while is running on the pile of shit that is Denuvo. Good fucking luck with that.

too bad there'r a ton of patreons supporting it bc the guy really needs a reality check. Guess it'll come when uncle Gaben runs his bot and checks the game doesnt make the cut to be on the store.

Much as I like to shit on Denuvo myself, the issues this scam is currently facing can't be blamed on DRM, but on whatever spaghetti code Helius paid whoever to cobble together on a weekend a few days before release.

No.

Literally after 0.4.9 is the 0.7.0 update which currently nobody can play cause they having potatoes instead of brains and also using Denuvo DRM so don't except cracked version. Currently there is only 1 person who works with denuvo crackings and thats EMPRESS and i doubt she would crack an unplayable porn that barely has content.
That's only true for the latest ver of denuvo which I do not think is used in this game as it's very very expensive. MKDEV cracked FM23 which is using denuvo V10 recently. Not sure which denuvo this one is using but it has to be one of those that is cheaper and thus easier to bypass. Ofc it still needs brain but still.

the FUCK??
What kind of idiot king thought putting a DRM booth at a convention was a good idea?...
That's like putting a fucking Apple booth at a Right to Repair convention
It's a corporate convention for developers. So it makes sense, thing is no one is there because well... big companies already use it and not one soul is interested on paying the premium that is Denuvo.

Btw I don't know how this tings go but +1 on the abandoned tag. This one is starting to feels like a real scam if is not already one, fucking glad I didn't bite the bullet when I was thinking on buying it a while ago

yea but usually the publisher is the one to choose to implement DRM. The devs are usually the ones that get shit done while te publishers try to milk as much cash as possible...unless they're one and the same person which is the case in indie titles usually

I can say this, the Denuvo booth at GDC and other conventions is just because you need to have an exhibit booth if you're there as presenter. The actual talks with denuvo people are in a sealed of area were publishers and studios will meet with them. There's usually a tall, grim looking fellow in front of that keeping people with the wrong badges out.

That being said, fuck denuvo and fuck every company or developer using them.

Well if there was no piracy there would be no need for denuvo ...

I think that denuvo is net positive for PC gamer, because publishers can protect first week/month sales they are far more likely to release games on PC alongside consoles.

I remember not being able to play a denuvo protected pes game a few years ago because I had no internet at that time.
I couldn't play a singleplayer game that I paid for thanks to denuvo  After that experience I swore I'll never buy any other denuvo protected game again. One less potential customer for all future denuvo protected games is certainly a negative if you ask me...

There was probably information somewhere that game requires internet for activation. Also these days even if you buy physical copy you still need internet to download required data (sometimes whole game). So if something is to be upset about it is the lack of internet.

I had situation that i couldn't run game because of DRM, i know it was because of DRM because with crack it worked just fine (it wasn't denuvo). But that didn't make me hate DRM, I believe everyone has right to protect their property. If i were to be upset with something I would need to be upset with piracy which would mean basically being upset with myself lol. The only people that honestly can be upset about DRM are people that never pirated anything ...

Yea sure dude as if when you're excited to buy a singleplayer game, the first thing you do is check if you need to be connected to the internet to play it.

I haven't bought a single piece of software in my life until like 2016. You can't tell me that I can't be upset about DRM lmfao. At least not by that logic.

The issue here isn't protecting privacy. The issue is protecting privacy with ridiculous costs to performance, ease of use, maintainability, straight up money (that is coming from people that couldn't care less about denuvo, btw) and the ever precious dev time.

They'd rather protect their little piece of shite of a game from being played by some broke folk on the internet that can't afford to pay for car parts let alone software, than develop said game.

Nice troll btw, guess I took the bait on that one

The wonderful irony of that is this: pirates were probably playing it while you weren't.
