Got in too and boy, that's even worse than i anticipated

First, servers are on fire but nobody's surprised, maybe it's going to be "stable" someday when people get bored and stop playing bla bla bla

What struck me the most is that now, the game looks EXACTLY the same as any other gacha.
Want examples? here's some :

-> Stamina, check
It was there from the start but now you can refill using item
View attachment 2509978

-> Multiple layers of currency, check
(from right to left)
- Likes you get by doing sex used to bs and level your player lvl up

- Data fragments to buy specific poses and obtained by burning duplicate poses you get when rolling in the gacha

- Insights you get by doing daily tasks, also used to buy poses

-"Neo England Pounds", this one is the premium currency you get when linking your patreon
Given we just got some as "compensation" for maintenance, i expect it to become actually buyable with real money very soon.

View attachment 2509981

-> Battle passes, check
You unlock them by using the green currency, that how you unlock characters.
Buuuuuut wait, there are 2 tiers for each battle pass, and you can of course spend you precious green buck to fast-levelup them

View attachment 2509994

-> In-game store with item bundles, check
And to nobody's surprise, you have the standard "1st try you buy, you get double" promotion. Cherry on the cake : you buy them with green bucks

View attachment 2510000

-> Gacha system, check
That how you unlock poses

-> Grind to unlock stuff for free, check
And boy, you will have to grind A LOT doing daily missions like :
- Make a character cum 10 TIMES (making a girl cum once can take 5 to 10 minutes doing nothing but spamming you num keys)
- Cum inside a girl 15 TIMES
- "Scan" 5 poses from other players (fun fact : you have to grind "ideas" to do that because 1 scan costs 3 ideas)

View attachment 2510013

So TLDR :
Helius spent the past year turning its game into a grindfest gacha (there were some game service stuff in the 1st release, but now it's upped to 11).
He's going to tell everyone that it's not going to be filled with microtransactions/forced monetization...
But that will be another lie.
We already know that every new character is going to cost 20$.
A typical predatory monetisation hides itself in layers of currency, this game has 5 of them already.
Green bucks can already use to skip battle-pass farm, buy bundles, unlock character

This is a gacha, anyone that will defend this and say it's not is either lying, or completely delusional.
None is surprised, one could quote that post Helius post and ask how is it different...
The copium is that the gacha model will be f2p friendly and that the money spent will go towards making the game.
(No honestly I don't care if whales waste money on scummy porn game rather than censored shit on mobile)

The only good thing about the servers finally going up is that now the Patreon shills for the past year can see exactly where their money went. Directly into Helius's wallet with nothing going into the game. Besides more ways to take your money of course.

Remember people, post your reviews in the tab above so more people can understand the bigger picture and hopefully prevent more people from flushing their money.
The only hope right now is that there's a big drop in subs next month. Otherwise I don't have much faith in whales making good decisions.

So I got in the game for a bit, and I'd say the server issues are exactly the same as month ago. 400 people overload it, most calls fail. While in the UI, you can spam click shit and hope it does something after a while. In the game, the crap like dailies progress or likes gets recorded on the same server, only you have no way to retry it. So if you progress something, and the server decides to ignore it, you get nothing.

Not surprising, they tested it with like 10 people max. So it's still as broken as before. Which makes the already painful, boring and annoying grind to unlock anything 100x worse.

Edit: btw all the ingame UI bugs are the same as in 0.4.9, 14 month "rebuild" yet they somehow did not touch any of that :poop: . Also the lighting seems to look much worse with each update

the only rebuild that happen was for their upcoming monetisation plan
nothing else changed, no QoL feature, no UX improvements
performances are barely better than a year ago

getting muted from their discord was maybe the best thing they could do for me, i don't care anymore about this game's future

i'm just going to enjoy looking their simps getting milked to the bone with nothing in return

... How come they have issues even with low amount of people on the server though? IIRC they said they out of steam keys or something? Like 500k keys? Im so sorry my memory very vague now and I aint bothered enough to check back (please help clarify this). Pretty sure they said they expected lots of people playing the game. It should be stable enough even to support at minimum 5k people unless they cheapen out.

I see, the update they been doing for a year is to implement the fucking stupid battle pass in a porn game. No systematic change no animation overhaul like they said, no new function no nothing. Not to mention the person who pledged a lot received no Battle pass benefit as promised.

Not only that but it's the jankiest battlepass implementation I have ever seen, not only does half of it not work but they haven't even built it around a proper gameplay loop.

The ux for the battlepass is also an unintuitive mess. My favourite part is randomly having to right click to pan on one part of it, with nothing to tip the user off to this and even mouse scroll doesn't work, and there isn't even a way that I can see to reach the battlepass screen unless you have a locked character (at which point clicking them brings up a prompt to "unlock" the character which takes you to the BP screen).

There are buttons which highlight on mouseover but don't do anything, others where you have to click through to a second page and then "proceeding" takes you back to the prior page, as mentioned above they forgot to actually integrate the BP with their old UI so the only links to it are via pop up messages when you try to select something that's locked... it's a fucking mess.

Ignoring all the other issues, the main problem with this trainwreck is the gameplay loop (or lack thereof). All successful gachas actually do have gameplay with engaging mechanics, party composition, equipment etc.

In this "game" all you do is watch looping animations. And okay, coomers being coomers they'll likely be drawn to the porn likes flies to shit, but there's only so many times you can watch the same canned animations, with the same characters, before it gets stale, especially if that's how you grind to unlock more stuff, so eventually people will have seen all there is and will demand more, and Helius does not have the kind of well-oiled development pipeline in place that can keep a constant stream of new content coming out, nor is there actual gameplay to tide people over while they wait for the content to drop, and since the money is needed to keep the serves going I fail to see how this project is ever supposed to be viable.

But then again, this was never meant to be a viable project, just a pie in the sky, selling people copium while the game is stuck in eternal alpha/beta.

 Considering the existence of Denuvo and Easy Anti Cheat, is it possible to get banned for using software like Ninja ripper? I mean, I don't want to have a fap simulator ban record on my steam personal page.

I suggest not to use ninja ripper because it injects a DLL which can upsets EAC. If you get banned, likely it only shows when you login in-game, it won't show in your steam profile.

EAC was removed since they added Denuvo. I think Denuvo has some kind of anti tampering functionality though so it might not work anyway.

LMAO
I just got kicked for a few days from their server for saying the server will get flooded and make it unplayable again
I can't stop laughing.
Feels like when I got banned on reddit r/fuckcars for saying this:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Also, for the uninitiated, there are ways to test servers with loads and loads of connections in the software development world. So this whole "server test" could've been done behind closed doors, without this entire shitfest. They just didn't do any testing.

This loop animation sex game is not worth a fucking microtransactions and stupid battle pass at all.

UI - Trash
Animation - Trash (Slow as a virgin)
Outfit only unlock via battle pass - Trash
Sex animation cards - Trash
Online only for new content - Trash

This game is already dead on arrival, look how Scamelius made everything based on battle pass. I'm glad I cancelled my Patreon while ago. Now I don't wish this game to be successful anymore. I wish it to be done so it's worth pirating, bypass those scummy microtransaction and battle pass on a full paid game.

Define successful ? Sure the giants do have those but there is plenty I would call successful gachas that do not have engaging gameplay / mechanics, honestly in whole of lot of them you hate the shit out of gameplay. There is even whole genre of gacha called idle gacha where the idea is that you don't need to play, you just log in and watch girls do some stuff on autoplay. So it is in essence watching same animations on loop +some outfit/girl variation.
Last time when I touched on this subject i wondered if it will work on porn game but since then i learned the existence of erolabs - they basically shit out porn gachas and from what i've seen neither story nor gameplay is worth a damn. Hard to say how well they are doing as they can't sell via play store so we got no data on them but since they keep making more that must be profitable.

A quick Google of erolabs turns up stuff like :
Play as Caesar, the most powerful Archdemon in hell. Battle and conquer the demon realm, human realm, or even the heavenly realm! Gradually expand your harem, but don’t forget to power up as you enjoy yourself with the babes!

5 different attributes and jobs, hundreds of skill combinations! Turn-based strategic battle, make that harem strong!
Ignoring whether that advertised gameplay loop is actually any good, I'm not about to install any of their crap to check, it seems like a completely different business model. Not only are they targeting mobile users, which is a much larger potential install base, but they're churning out multiple titles in the time it takes Helius to implement a login system.

Operation Lovercraft by comparison is limited to desktop users with mid-range hardware from the last few years, it doesn't just have a bad gameplay loop or story it has absolutely no gameplay loop or story and just to put a little cherry on the top of the shit pile it's a barely functional living example of ux hell.

I really just don't see this being overly successful. Presuming that Helius really has had even a small team working on this since the beginning the costs are exponentially higher than any of those porn games and (ignoring the money from Patreon) the future revenue potential from microtransactions actually seems lower.

Chances are if Helius doesn't do a 180 the moment subs drop and he actually manages to release it he'll end up killing it shortly after release when it doesn't bring in the revenue expected. Especially since their design seems to put unfathomable strain on their servers even at low player counts so I can't imagine it's cheap to keep running. Not to mention Denuvo licensing fees...

It failed successfully. Denuvo is not a problem actually. The real trouble maker is the render thread timeout setting in Unreal Engine, 120s, to be specifically. The game killed itself before ninja ripper finished the rip process. As for the 2GB ripped meshes, They contains 3K+ objects and most of them are trash and duplicates filled up the viewport. It's impossible to clean them up. Also, the FoV value is unknown, make all the mesh distorted.
Don't know whether it is possible to unpack games with Denuvo using umodel. Maybe I just need to wait.

Well i did play the newest one, the gameplay is shit, in essence it is it is waiting simulator while you look at shitty chibi models that have no sex appeal to them.

I wish there was something better to compare with. The only PC only gacha i know is DOAXVV, no gameplay just animation viewer but than it does have legacy history as fighting game even if it is dead by now. Also not porn. Hmm there may have no precedence but it also means lack of competition.

You are right regarding the fact that they can put out games quickly unlike Helius ... but Helius is already getting paid. So it is not like he needs to return the investment cost, no whatever he makes on selling the game only needs to pay the server cost and whatever he spends on making more content for sale (i believe he already got 1-2 years of content he is holding of ) and Denuvo i guess.

He says he has 1-2 years of content, but he says a lot of things.

Besides having a bunch of models and animations is one thing but realistically is just adding new models and animations ad nauseum really going to be enough to maintain the playerbase? At some point it all just ends up looking like the same content, especially if said content is gated behind an obnoxious grind and/or further payments.

I just can't see them maintaining even a moderately sized playerbase with that approach, even if they work out the kinks (which they probably won't), and when you're trying to amortize ongoing development costs and operational costs over not only a small playerbase but the fraction of that playerbase you can convert to paying customers? It doesn't seem like a very good plan.

I suppose it would make more sense to compare it to his actual competition like Wild Life, how many models are in that game already? Tens? Hundreds? Or Carnal Instinct, similar numbers for NPC models and fully customizable character model. No mindless grind on those either.

The only really comparable games in terms of releasing with 0 gameplay systems are probably some illusion titles but those are true sex sims and they come with far more customization, the ability to import your own models, animations, mods etc.

There might not be any devs doing anything quite as stupid as this but that doesn't mean there's no competition, all those titles are still going to draw players away from this game especially when pretty much its only real attraction has ever been what it could have been and that it was the first announced porn game for UE4.
