The problem has always been PH. I was coming to post this too. Pasix is one of many staff people who are fed up and trying their best and PH is undermining that also. It's just depressing.

I've read it all. You think is some subjective romantic relationship shit. It's not. I've been on the Discord for years. I've seen it evolve and mocked the idiocy that PH left behind at every mistake.

This is cut and dry, Pasix and the staff have been an absolute gem, they kept the game floating just by not having a heavy hand (god knows I've said a ton of shit about the game and PH) and trying to squeeze everything out of PH at every possible turn.
PH is a giant crybaby and the current events are another proof of this. He leaves the mods on no-communication for weeks, then comes back and undermines them (AGAIN, let's not forget about the re-launch) and just suddenly decides he'll shut down the Discord, WHICH HE DOESN'T EVEN CARE FOR, not realizing it's the one thing that is keeping the game community alive, lmao.

I hope he does shut it down. The game will die within a year.

Regarding those screenshots Helius is definitely at fault, but Pasix is also problematic. The guy has had way too many power trips and his involvement in the server plays a part in why it's so toxic. He's one of the worst mods/community managers I've seen in an official game's discord. He rouses up people when debating things then mutes or threatens to kick them or outright kicks them, then when they come back dissatisfied about how they're treated by a moderator they're eventually perma banned. While lurking in that server I've seen that happen quite a bit within the last year or so.

I don't think Pasix leaving the community would make the game any better, but I think someone else stepping in would at least improve the sanity of the discord server a bit. There's really no hope for Helius though, he's always in his own bubble.

Helius is obviously a pathological liar with zero technical aptitude, project management skills, business sense or capacity for public relations. Pasix is a weird superfan that has spent years simping for a very questionable developer, apparently without thought of remuneration, whilst going on weird power trips and defending some of Helius' worst decisions and backing up his BS along the way.

There is no right side in this. Both of them are unprofessional morons (although at least Helius is doing it for money).
