Your logic is flawed beyond the stars. You're mentioning yourself that you're aware that a key is needed, yet expected it to "just work" by slapping downloaded files atop each other? Even the most newbie of pirates know that it's not just about the game files but bypassing whatever authentication the game implements.
Easiest bet is to grab whatever the latest cracked version here is and not to mess with steam files.
Besides the changes you mention, keep in mind that they actually cut content to comply with censorship, and nightclub is more of a "new old" feature. Hell, I think the old one worked better lol.
My hopes now are for thehackerknownas4chan to succeed in his idea. Whatever he comes up with will easily be 100x better than Scamlius crapware.

The uploaders themselves mentioned the purpose was to make the files available for anyone who wanted to try their hand at inspecting or cracking them. Otherwise main post would have that newer version. Not my fault that the horny got the best of your logical process.
3 years have passed and those Devs seem still to have no ideas that their assets will get somehow dissorted, exceptionally vertex weight paintings and normal tangents when models are imported into UE.

At this point in time the developer only seems to want to be paid big bucks for writing bogus changelogs, incrementing the version number, adding new and innovative ways to restrict fun (and extract money) and implement denuvo or other things that totally work very well with an unoptimized
So probably not.

It's not a coincidence, these guys started out on a forum that mostly does mods and translation for illusion games.
When UE4 came out they decided to try making a game themselves and apparently bit off a bit more than they could chew.
