The irony of pirates having the moral high ground in this thread is amazing.
Damn you guys mad over me saying this when what I meant is while piracy is inherently immoral its still pretty funny seeing that we still have more morals than Helius lmao.

I cam here two years ago on f95 interested in the game, I now stay for the thread and see the downfall of scamlius
I remember the lies like the project being funded by a porn site, or "we need money for motion capture"
Fuck scamlius
Hah, yeah this gets even funnier when you look at some of the lies they made :

It is reported that the University of Michigan will provide an action capture laboratory, and Studio FOW will provide English CV and overseas publicity support. There will also be Yubi modelers who have participated in the Assassin Creed series participating in the development. The second work seems to be a puzzle-solving game, but the development focus is still on the quality of the painting and the performance of the animation.
Because the University of Michigan letting a Chinese porn game use their mocap studio is totally legit and a thing that happened... surprise surprise half a decade later Helius is begging for money to start . I mean who would rent a mocap studio or commission mocap piecemeal when you can build an entire studio for an indie title with a budget in the single digit millions?

Helius has scrubbed a lot of his original claims from the internet but you can still find references to them, like the above, if you search for the original studio/project names ("PHplusSTUDIO" and "Project H").

I know what happens when too much blood goes to people's dicks but this is just brain dead.

I really don't understand what the fuck is going on in the dev's mind anymore.
Like what's the point of adding every selection of anticonsumer psychologically exploitative practice that completely disrespects your time in a game that they vouched will feature no microtransactions at all.
Pretty sure that's a big fat lie and the dev will give in at some point.
I mean, the infrastructure for monetization is already there: you've got battle pass, card packs (with apparently useless non-recyclable duplicates), daily missions, weekly exp caps, rotating shop stock along with other fomo bullshit.
How the fuck does anyone look at all of this when designing a game and think this is fun?

Really hope one day someone cracks this game makes an "all content unlocked" version.
