Is it possible for the Patreon supporters to demand the company?... Or when you do the support you're signing and accepting that they can do this kind of scam?

The only concrete thing they give are Monthly Updates.
But they don't clarify what "Updates" are.
They say "roadmap" but I've never seen one.

I've followed this thread on and off for a while (and played it). These people fucked their chances royally. Not that I was into the weird animals and shit but visually its probably the best H games I've seen and played and had tons of potential. Instead its scamware and I just dont understand how/why people would pay them to carry on...

15,826 subs on 21 January to 15,820 at close of business yesterday. I didn't even know it was possible for Patreon subs to go down mid-month, I can only imagine that's either account deletions or users being banned or something. By the looks of it that chart is going to drop like a mother fucking rock in a weeks time.

Also look at the full year chart, they lost about 8k from 2021 to today, a 27% drop, according to the graph
I seriously hope there's a huge drop this month, people can't be this freaking stupid.

Probably because that video literally just shows a character model with PS3 era graphics walking around a map.
Other than the new map it looks largely unchanged from the closed beta and I suspect people were looking for something more substantive.
I will give it the benefit of the doubt regarding the potato graphics as I suppose PH devs may well be running it on an actual potato.

At least it's something but it only begs further questions:
The date of this video is 12/21/2022. They couldn't provide the patreon or any other social media with this update (aside from discord obviously)? It doesn't seem honest to wait until it's time to do damage control if you care about your community or transparency.
This would have been a reasonable tide over while waiting and people may have been lenient with their feedback and disappointment over the failure to provide what was promised if they received regular updates like this.
It has been several years and there has been minimal improvement in either communication or the release cycle. Just endless empty apologies and weak attempts at transparency.
At this point anyone still paying is doing so because the drama is worth whatever tier they sub for a month.
It's a little embarassing to watch!

Hey, imagine earning tens of thousands every month and all you have to do is bullshit a bunch of gullible people every now and then, while enjoying your new house in the bay area...
They are able to do so by deleting 99% of the negative feedback and banning naysayers, effectively keeping newcomers mostly in the dark - by the time they realize this is a scam, they might have already paid one or several months.
