I very much doubt that.

Isin`t there a shortcut key in the game whitch shows FPS ????
No there isnt (AFAIK), however you can use either Fraps, or MSI Afterburner, or literally any other program that will show you the framerate.
Personally I prefer Afterburner, because in addition to FPS, it shows me all kinds of other useful info, such as VRam usage, GPU Usage, Fan speed, so on and so forth.

Yes it does. Fraps shows about 40 FPS when example girl is masturbating. It`s like watching movies.

Personally speaking, even for me with everything at High (graphics and antialiasing) works without a problem - and I'm playing.. probably af HD? Not 1080p or shit like that. Probably the fps are the same as Nerttu above or maybe a bit more, but honestly I didn't encounter any issues.

40 FPS is pathetic.
New What is then your FPS count when you play the game ??? And where or what scenes your you need higer FPS count ??? As i said my game runs very smootly ( mouse and other movements) and example poll dancing is as fast and smooth like watching a film. With higer FPS count the girl ain`t dancing any faster or smoother lol.

And you need to understand that this game is optimized as shit (but at least better than Dynasty Warriors 9 for example). So 40 FPS for this shit, is more than enough and if you can't play this game at this fps, then oh well, your problems.

Pathetic is does but playable.
For you it might be, but we dont all have the same preferences/demands. This is something mostly subjective but not entirely, and it also depends on hardware (monitor mainly).

There's no need to be upset guys.

Anyway, it ISNT smooth like watching a film, because the framerate will fluctuate, and not be fixed at 40 FPS. You could set a limit to, say 30 FPS, so that its capped at 30, but even then you wont see rock solid unaltered 30 FPS.
This isnt a movie, its a video game, and its rendered in real time. As such, it cannot be compared to a film, unless it had pre-rendered scenes where those scenes are at a fixed framerate due to them not being rendered in real time.

Also, unless you've got a pretty awesome monitor, its probably a 60HZ monitor without G-sync/Freesync.
So that means that yes your target FPS should be 60, not 40 or 30 or less.
You'll be dropping frames at 40 FPS, and maybe you cant see the difference between 40 and 60, but others can.
If you cant see the difference, and for some reason it looks smooth to you, then congrats, I am happy for you.

But to those who are a little spoiled and/or have a trained eye, 40 FPS just doesnt look good, especially when it jumps to 60 and then drops back down to 40 or less.
Keep track of your FPS. How often does it go up to 60 and then drop down to 40? Can you notice/perceive that without looking at the FPS counter? If you cant, then good for you. I notice that fairly easily however.

That said, I have not tested the latest version, but if its anything like 1.18, then yes its not optimized well and also yes it isnt playable at max settings for me.

Feel free to disagree, but this isnt a debate.
I do believe I explained my view rather well however.

I understand and respect your opinion/preferences but i think you have FPS Sickness. Just turning off the FPS counter (MSI and FRAPS) and you will feel better. If you don't 59 fps never be enough for you beside the game was bad optimized so the FPS may drop on high-end.

What kind of iron you have ???? My laptop has i7 6700HQ, 16 Gb DDR 4, 512 SSD + 2 Tb HD and GTX 980 with 4 Gb DDR 5. And my FSB count stays about 38 to 42 all the game, it dosent go up and down like up to 60 and then down to 35. Display is 1920 x 1080 full hd 17.3".

And yes, I might have "FPS sickness" as you say. It isnt particularly bad, but as long as I can tell that the framerate is below 60, I am bothered.

However, the monitor refreshes the image 60 times per second (60 HZ). That means that anything below that is a frame that is missing (dropped), and may or may not be noticeable depending on the viewer/player.
And this one isnt an opinion/preference, its fact.
If however you are on a display with G-sync or Freesync, then the monitor adjusts the refresh rate to match the framerate. That way, you never notice any dropped frames, as long as framerate doesnt drop too low.
It also doesnt produce screen tearing.

I got an i5 2500k, 8GB DDR3, and GTX 970.
My framerate doesnt go as low as 38, lowest I've seen is 41.
And it actually cant go as high as 60 FPS, so you're right about that. Just tested the game (latest version) today, btw.
It goes as high as 49, depending on how (or if) the scene changes.
My GPU usage is at 99% locked, almost all the time.

The game is severely GPU-limited, at least for me.

Anyway, as long as you're happy with how your game runs, then all is well.
But for me, I wanna see 60/60 FPS, and thats it.

Then if you're searching for a porn game that gives you 60 stable fps.. I'm sorry, but you're in the wrong thread (not that the other threads are better. Only VN's don't care about fps, and RPGMaker games (some of them) lag so much).
This game will never be what you want it to be. Not even AAA developers can make a good usage of UE4, let alone an "indie" developers like these.

About refresrates you are wrong. If your display is 60 Hz (like mine) it means that display draws a screen 60 times in second and if your CPU and GPU drawes over 60 FPS THEN you miss frames. But you are right about one thing, the game requies powerful CPU. I tested my CPU use during the game and it never went over 18%.
