Greenworks failed to load. Make sure you copied all files from the Steamworks SDK to the right folders;

EDIT might be due to a file not found on these, or these are defaults.

by cloning the respective github repos. going back in time, and retrieve the .js.map files from the bin directory.
then there was also a a upper/lower filename issue.

Well there's 2 problems
1. I can't get it on steam for....Reasons
2. I can't download the patch for some reason it keeps taking me to an add which is annoying.

2. ZIPPY is a well known host and used by everyone. The link is up and working, maybe try another browser.

It Finally download but when I try and use it, it doesn't work. Do I require steam or can I use the version from this site? And if so how can I do it.

To apply the patch, just follow the UI and do it as just any other program install/update. It's also Windows only so if you're on Mac or Linux I cannot guarantee it will work with emulation.
This patch is meant to be used with version 1.06c only, since its the latest version available here.

I'm trying my best here to help you but, I need more usable info like an error log from the patch, os type etc..
