Been looking forward to the update and, gotta say, surprised me a lot more than I even anticipated. A lot of emotional knowledge gained for people I was hoping for, as well as some I really wasn't expecting. And that end...wow. Can't say I saw THAT coming.

Hey enjoying the game a lot great story, there is a bug(i think?) with the twins vs society x after match scenes, i can see text but no animations show its just a black screen, i dont have any mods or anything and i downloaded from patreon
Since it's been a while, decided to go through another playthrough with the new version. Like last time, it was a blast. Can't wait to see how the story will continue!
One weird thing I noticed though is that even after she recovers from her injury, training with Aya remains locket out, not sure if that's on purpose. Now, it doesn't really matter, given that the prerequisites to win matches tend to be low to begin with, and never rise at all. It might actually be the one (minor) issue I have with the game, the whole wrestling part seems a bit undercooked, and winning is so easy it's hard to really get excited about it.
Weirdly enough, I kind of feel it does permeate through the story too, in the sense that the main antagonists are more pathetic than threatening. Which is kind of the point, I imagine, but they've been taking so many Ls through the story that at this point, it feels like beating them will be a formality, the hard part is to actually get them in a ring. Hopefully they'll get a bit of bite at some point.
(oh, and very minor gripe, but the history major in me kind of cringed at Todogawa's history lesson with Saki. Japan was far too busy fighting each other in the 1500s for any kind of foreign invasion, aaaaand I really should let go of that kind of thinking.

Damn it, sorry about that! I've found the problem. It will be fixed for V.0.7.1. Thanks for letting me know!
No, the Aya thing's an error on my part, sorry! Again, will be fixed in the next update. Also, a completely fair point about the matches. There is a reason for that. From V.0.8.0. the whole training system will be getting a major overhaul, so you'll have incentives to actually use it, beyond just grinding out stats. It's possible to lose some of the earlier matches but I just dropped that whole thing for some of the later ones until I was able to turn the training into something actually worthwhile. So, in the near future, you will be able to lose matches if you don't train enough but you will be rewarded for training. I will explain further in the next progress report!
Well, I think to say they're 'more pathetic than threatening' is going a little far but I can kind of see where you're coming from. And yes, painting them as overconfident, lazy bullies who'd rather avoid a real challenge than face it IS kind of the point but if you've finished V.0.7.0. then you are already starting to see that there's a little more to all of them than just being cannon fodder villains. And with certain events from this update, shit is obviously about to hit the fan in a BIG way!

But in the one where it DOES, Emperor Go-Nara was assassinated just days after the start of his reign by agents of the powerful Onita clan. Led by the bloodthirsty Warlord Atsushi, the clan united the country and looked to expand, starting with an invasion of Todogawa. After suffering such heavy losses, however, the rival Matsunaga clan, led by Warlord Mitsuhiro (a former friend and captain of Atsushi's) began a bloody war against the Onita's for the still empty Emperors throne. BUT...that's a totally different story with no wrestling references whatsoever...

There were a couple of us that said the song suited and we enjoyed it but either the group were too shocked and spoke about the plot twist or some of us were late to play the update

Really enjoyed the game and the story here
The characters are all good and i really liked many side characters here.
Like the twins, same for Yuki but can't think of her like the main girl and surely i'm not fond of Mirai, Keiko character instead is really interesting for now.
Really like Aya character, same for gothic Saki and Celeste is adorable
For the side characters Bisha surely is the best one, Davida character is really funny too
I liked Red but too bad she is out now
For the one time group i liked the girls of Scandi Fitness, favorite pair
Sunset still my favorite character
Instead of the villains i don't really like someone but the most insteresting is Makiko, but man, we really need to punch Tessa's face

I'm hoping for a Naito win but I'd be happy with a few others. looking forward to catching up with the last few nights matches this weekend, especially Cobb/ZSJ and Ospreay/Okada, of course!
Man, that was such a good Cornette impression, I'm thinking I might have to introduce a knock off version of him into the game at some point! Maybe Aya callijng in to his podcast and getting into an argument with him or something, hahaha!
