You hit the nail on the head with rarity with a character like Oxar and he does have more to his a backstory as you gathered. I didn't want FD to be another game where the romances consisted of something more than "You're the MC... I LOVE YOU!" Each character falls for MC for their own reasons (like in real life, go figure), not simply because its an AVN and that's just what happens.
The reason that I enjoy this game is, first of all, because of the futa MC. I find male MC games, completely boring (for some reason) and female MCs are usually very badly written or they are always humiliated and act like bimbos, which is also boring.
I really like that I can choose which kink to like and how much I like it. I pretty much chose every kink, except the CBT for the MC.
I like that I can be dominant but also submit to someone I want. Most games, with submissive content, kinda force you to submit, which I really dislike, and it kinda blocks me from enjoying the scene. But in this game its more consensual? I think.
After playing the new update, I replayed the whole game again and now I kinda want to know what happened in MC's past.
I want to know more about Oxar's past and I also want to fuck him roughly (Strange , I'm not aroused by masculine males but there is something in me that wants to put that hunk of meat in his place )
Its really considerate of you do add so many options (like the dick type), but I feel like this is going to drag development a lot. So, obviously this is your choice, you could cut some corners if you feel like development is too slow. Not every scene needs 200 renders. If you feel like it, you can redo the scene a few updates later, or when you complete the whole week, the following update will be touch ups.
I very much hope that you continue development despite the fact that many commenters, here, have been put of by the new love interest.
im on the anti-Oxar group here. i was enjoying the story as well but yeah as someone mentioned being able to decide on MC's sexuality would've been a nice way to go around the Oxar scene. like the date either never happens or never turns sexual.
despite that i do think the dev should do what he wants.
but yeah as soon as i realized this update was about him i straight skipped all the dialogue and sex scene. idk i guess it was a major let down because you have access to decide on what kinks to engage and a wide variety of them but cant decide who to engage them with?

Have seen some complaints about a male LI, but I was under impression that we could choose who MC was attracted to? Not a fan of Futa on male, much prefer Futa on Female, or Futa on Futa(the best)
Also, we finally get a Futa MC and can't see how hot she looks? Maybe just a shot in the mirror every once in the while, like in Bad Memories? That is POV, but we do get to see female MCs sexy face once in a while, just for a reminder that she's a hottie. Not a deal breaker, just my opinion.

For what it's worth, I was able to get through his scene without getting too bothered by it, and I am extremely gay and very misandristic. I definitely will enjoy it more later with the alternative dick and topping, and would enjoy it the most without it being there at all, but it was way more tolerable for me than I expected. Very little would make him less my type (dark skin, older looking 'cause grey, man, masculine, hairy, etc.), but both your writing and the fact he isn't a total jerkoff did a lot to help make it vaguely palatable.
I decided to try this out and it seems alright and the first part was hot but I have to agree on the Oxar dude and that I 100% turned on skip unseen text and flew right past everything with Oxar as I had no interest in them at all. For me I generally avoid dudes when playing female protagonist as I generally am not interested in them and generally find most of them ugly looking and Oxar looked like he put brown make up on himself to try to make himself look black which made me laugh at them more then anything. I said their age was over nine thousand.
I did pick the keep the options open but used the console to remove/turn off anything with them and the ones that I wasn't interested in. Pity the FC and succubus positions weren't switched where the FC was the succubus and the succubus was the FC as I think the FC would of made a hotter succubus but that's just me.

I agree, and while the Oxar sex scene was not quite my thing, it did not diminish the game in any way for me, and i look forward to the next update and the ones after that, and in the future when i get my finances in a better shape i would love to become a patreon.

Congratulation for a new update. I can see the care that was put in it. Before I go on to talk about the rest I must sadly adress the male LI subject. (sadly; not because I have bad thing to say about it but because the subject took a weird conotation in the last day on this theread.)
I have always had a personal greif with POV porn. I never saw the appeal. In games like skyrim I always found bafling that I would pass north of 30min customising the look of a character only to be stuck in First person because the game only integrated third person view as an after thought. I don't feel the need for first person view to relate to the character I am playing. It is not something I am complaining about as I understand that it a POV dynamic helps many players engage in the story. So to come back around male LI. In games with female, futa or trans MC I tend to go with the female Li when given the choisse between male and female. I think it has to do with a lot of factors, mainly atraction as I am a streght man. But I don't mind seeing an other dick than the one from the MC and that may have to do with the fact that I don't realy care for the first person perspective or that I don't feel threatend by male Li. The worst thing that can hapen is that I wont get sexualy exited by a sceen that is supposed to be. While reading all the comments about the unavoidable male Li I wonderd today at work why I wasent botherd by it like others are and I found my answer. It might not be a fit for everyone thow. I was identifying more with the Li than the MC in those sceen.
with that out of the way here is what I think of the continuation of Day 3
It was fantastic. I loved all the new characters involved, all five, if my memory is good. clearly a lot of love and care has been put in the game. I love how every character react to eache others reactions. It is clear that we are in a foreing place with similar yet distinct culture. Nora's reaction to the new characters in the subway made it clear that she was out of her comfort zone. When Nora talks about skin color and she thinks she has made a faux pas only to see the other two having fun talking about skin color in a way that is completly oblivious to our norms and bagage. It puts the player in a clear other culture. It is like going on a cultural trip. Now this tension of saying or doing the right thing will alwas be present for Nora or the player. It is not something we see often even in Fantasy or SI-FI setings. It is something that I apreciate a lot.
The dance sceen was something. It is always nice see developpers investing time in sceens other than just sex. To me it alows to connect to the characters not just sexualy. It is important. And the characters looked like they had fun dooing it. The slip up at the end made it more beliveable. I apreciated all of it and had fun reading throug it. Great job putting all that together.
Oxar... is a likeable person, one i could easily see myself sharing a beer with if the circumstace would allow. I like his eagerness for the date, his inteligence, his clumsy care for his partner of the night and all the atention he is giving her. Unlike many male Li in many games I feel like he merits the interest of a female main character. Even if he was only optional I feel like he would be tough to beat. him and the Mc where feeling like two adult dating as opposed to two teen clumsyly circling each other and that was fun. As I have a hard time identifying the age of virtual characters and grey is supposed to be his healthy furr color I undershot his age a bit. It would have been nice if there was the option for the mc to say it instead of the game asking us to retry as I gave him 36. (my only gripe with the update)
Like others I liked the continuation of the possibility for choosing all the kinks of the characters. The more I read about it the more a visual novel looks harder to do so props to you for all the details you go into. Seriously for me that seams enough choisse given to the player. The story to me could be on tracks for all I care, as a single dev you chose to give us something else to choose and that is also something enjoyable in it's own way. leave the complicated branching stories to others, your's is guiving us more control than any of them can over what hapens between the sheets and that is refreshing.
