I've been wondering the same thing. I've been on the fence thinking about downloading for several updates, but each update seems to be plagued by game ending bugs.

WTF, I uploaded my R11 saves from 2/22/19 and the game is now unplayable. Every few decisions the game freezes and have to exit and reload. I wanted to see if the shovel/smelter bug had been fixed, so I could finish some business!

Thanks for looking at some maps. It got me looking also.
There are script files in www/data/external folder of game. File DerekBombQuest.fd

I was able to edit DEREK's store so I can BUY iron ore, and the furnace recipe. (MUSEX replied in Discord that he was thinking about releasing a fix for furnace recipe and removing the shovel

tried doing this. the system.json file gives and error and selecting rpg_core says to use the system.json file. so it's giving me a loop of errors.

I download R11.5 version and load my save from R11 version but still I have shovel hold and using problem
should I start from begening again ore what ?

It appears that there's an error loading map104.json when you try to use the crystal and that file doesn't even exist on data folder to me
