I think you need full friendship to get them. I missed some hearts at that time, so i didn't get them either. I still wonder if the gift day can happen again. Based on the v21.1 version changelog description, i believe ot can happen.

I am more interesting in knowing whether or not it is still aggressively buggy. I remember last version I played having a game breaking bug in the first 15 minutes when you entered the Inn.

and Laura . . . order something from Laura's dad, go to shop, talk to Laura and come back next day before 8am
I replace the "save" folder's files with yours, but the game still sees my saves when i try to load.

Yes, but you can play Love Season (v4.1) which is the same game without the grinding (there are also some different girls)

Going through comments it seems like the meeting and heart with dog is very misleading as there aint no bitch fucking
