I'll refrain from self quoting and spoilers though, especially since you've probably seen all my posts. So, let's start at the beginning, avoiding unnecessary revealing of details from Ep3 and reasoning logically.
1. Monica is the sole owner of a multi-million dollar business that includes several organizations, including a magazine and the company of her subordinate Steve, who, if memory serves me correctly, managed the investments and financial assets of Monica's company. Monica's husband was criminally prosecuted by the state (it remains unclear in this case whether such prosecution took place, and if so, what became of the husband), one way or another, but it happened. All of the husband's debts were legally transferred to Monica. This practice exists in the laws of many countries. What's next? Next, the bailiffs (or similar organization) must collect these debts from Monica for the benefit of the state (or other affected person, if any). If Monica does not have enough money to cover the debts, she should either declare bankruptcy or try to negotiate with the authorities. Say, refinance the debt or defer its payment. If Monica declares bankruptcy, the judicial authorities can forcibly appoint a temporary receiver to the bankrupt company. His or her duties include the following
So what do we have in our game. Unknown people (I'm guessing who these people are), who are not official auditors or judicial authorities, illegally put an interim manager (I'll call him that, even though he's just a brazen scumbag and buffoon) into Monica's company, appointing him director of the magazine. And his name is Biff. Does he represent the state? Definitely not. Does he set the goals that should be set for such an executive? Also no. In what happened to Monica, I see a global conspiracy of elites, including some people who are related to the "higher echelons" of power. Because Monica's documents, all civil rights, all real estate, all financial and other assets were taken away from her (illegally and without a court order), and an insolent scumbag with a nasty smile, who has nothing to do with the judiciary or other authorities, was put in her place. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. What is such a situation called? I answer - raider seizure, i.e. violent seizure of an enterprise/commercial organization, etc.. I.e., in essence, it is pure banditry. You don't even need spoilers from episode 3 to realize that there is a global conspiracy going on here and Biff is involved. As for the Farm, as with any mechanism, there are little cogs that are just doing their job and Biff is probably just such a cog. I can concede that Biff knows nothing about the Farm/Elites, But I don't believe Biff has no idea who hired him for the position.
