With a game with an ambitious scope, it's going to be difficult trying to marry together different parts of the story. One of the game's strengths is that it was trending towards an rpg system which checks statistics rather than branches based on decisions. I really do mean strength, because it means you can boil down a lot of moments into simplified ability score checks, rather than having to look up whether the player did X on some day in Y past. Narrative decision trees get ridiculous, and they only get worse over time. But by breaking things down by looking at the basic character sheet and saying, "These numbers represent the player's history", you can build vignettes that don't care about as many of the details. It does however mean you have to really define the scope of the character and the kind of story or journey is being embarked upon. A lot
I think with this game, it'd probably be best if it focused on at most 5 personality axis, exploring maybe 2-3 of them in any mission. It'd probably be something like, affability, naivety, exhibition... etc. If the player makes the skill checks for it, then they qualify, else accept fail/skip. Met the challenge? Get rewarded with stat points along that axis. That's still a lot of branching paths, that's still a lot of writing, and it's a ton of writing that might not make sense immediately given historical context. But that's the nature of writing scenes for a game.

Even with all that, I think the latest update with the very straight forward story progression has been a step in the right direction. I think the biggest road block for the game has been that it kept going around in a loop refining parts rather than drawing a bead through. My recommendation is that he probably works backwards, writing some end situations and then starts drawing dots to get there. If the agent is going to be humiliated by her agency tragically as her career sunsets or run a 'turn turn turn' to become a double agent or just to have that Bond happy ending as the sun rises on the ocean, write a loose scenario and let everything else kind of lead towards that. They don't have to be released, but it definitely makes the writing a lot easier having them to reference.

Hey guys! This week I’ve been writing. I know it was disappointing to push back the release date for this episode, but I’m confident the improvements I’m making will be worth it.
This week I worked mainly on the opening two scenes of the episode. When you’re firing a rifle, tiny adjustments to your starting position can have a huge effect on where your shot ends up. I’m trying to do something similar with the improvements to this episode: making some subtle changes to everybody’s characterisation (the heroine and the bargirls) and some of their early interactions will make all the later scenes work better.
As well as improving the story, I’m also trying to sex the episode up a little bit (without jumping the shark). This week I added a new topless scene that I hope you will find quite…titillating.

Announcement on upcoming side quests
After this episode is released, I plan for the following three episodes to be side quests that will hopefully be released at a quick and satisfying pace. These are Booth Babe (unlocked in the last episode if you agree to help your Thai bar regulars at their conference), Big Mac (unlocked if you let Connor give your number to his friend, Mac) and White Russian (unlocked in the next episode).
An issue that Bread Pitt and Irioth raised is that it might feel like the heroine is just off doing side quests instead of advancing her main mission. So I’m now planning to include a short club shift with each side quest: this will give us the feeling that she’s working regularly in the club, and also allows us to do some more sexy barmaid stuff between side quests. (Also I find the switch between her real life and the club shifts subtly, inherently sexy for some reason, so I'm excited about getting to explore that a little.)

Okay, that's it for this week's report! I'm going to get right back onto writing tomorrow morning. Have an awesome week guys and hit me up on Discord or in DMs here if you have ideas, questions or worries, it really helps.

The problem with crushstation and many other devs here is that, while their content has quality, it suffers in quantity and delay. Its like going to a restaurant while starving and ordering a steak, but instead of a full steak or any substantial piece of steak they give you a tiny sliver of steak every 24 hrs. Im sure some here will want to nitpick on the ordering a steak part but those who are rational will get the idea.

Yes, we reached Bangkok, however everything else is gone now.
Well, not really gone, but not connected. Basically the current version isn't really a coherent game, but rather a series of isolated scenes that don't affect each other. The writing is still pretty good for a porn game, just don't expect a game, it's basically a novel (and not a very sexy one, but that's just my personal opinion) with a slightly customizable avatar.

I'm wondering if the Girl's Night Out is part of the plan - MC is told to keep it secret, but Connor knows about it, as he gives her some extra cash for it.
... to keep it secret from Bday girl  ofc noone wanna spoil surprise not like noone knows about it

I disagree about the game not being coherent; it is extremely coherent. Perhaps even too much, as it limits choices and replayability. The idea of introducing side quests is, if I understand correctly, to bring in more customization and choice in approach.
