So, I'm done with one of my other projects for the moment though. Put a lot of work into a personal mod for Space Journey that I posted up, to improve the gameplay flow a tiny bit, and apparently no one else cares...
The developer might borrow an idea or two, I guess we'll see, but since no one seems to care anyways...
Mainly though, I just needed to get some modding of the Space Journey gameplay/interface out of my system. I'll probably update the mod for my own personal joy when the next game update for Space Journey drops in about 8 days, but no hurry I guess.
In any case, I'm ready to get back to wrapping up the FmF Girls Game Night story, when I'm not working on on some home maintenance stuff. I have a finicky sata adaptor issue that was messing with one of my drives that I moved a bunch of game stuff over too, so that drive is in an external USB enclosure for now, while I wait for an adapter cable to arrive. No hurry on that, I'm good for now. The 'getting the adaptor to work with the connector' thing was a bit frustrating, and had been going on for a few weeks. Once it 'read' i was golden, but yeah the system needed to 'see' the drive first... ugh!
BTW, while this is very much one of my favorite DMD related renders that I've ever done:
I still think that
RustyV 's Deebarella story is pure genius!
I did help put together this particular costume, and (re)built the sci-fi rifle that Deebarella packs around for a bit, but all of the other costumes that
RustyV put together for Deebarella are still a treat to look at. Sure, the renders are just 'pretty good' for the most part, but really it's about the silly story, and Dee(barella) looking like a hottie!
Just felt the need to get that off my chest.
RustyV comes up with some really cool stories, and, at least for FmF, and I have a lot of fun collaborating with him on these!
Anyways, just figured that a quick heads up was in order, since I've been very distracted for the last couple of months...
