Just a quick update.

So we decided to extend a couple of scenes in the girl's game night short story thingie. RustyV still needs to get a few more renders to me, and I'm about to rework another scene to improve the flow of the dialogue.

So, short form, it's taking a bit longer to complete than I had originally planned, but it's coming together. Soon hopefully...

RustyV handed off his story edits to me, and I'm going through it now and reworking a bit of the dialogue, and we've both been working on a few additional renders to fill in a couple of story parts.

So, there's some backstory stuff that I had simply forgotten about that relates to the girls DnD game night story. I'm in the middle of creating a few renders to fill in a couple of blanks, and then I need to go through a couple of sections of the dialogue to make appropriate adjustments.

Barb (left) and Anna (right) are seen briefly in FmF part 1 (college friends of Jen), and are nods to characters from My Cute Cousin Roommate. Simply put, I forgot to explain to RustyV that these two are a couple, and am rectifying that now.

RustyV and I are slowly hammering away at new content to add to the story. We both figure that since it may be a while until the next FmF short story update, we might as well add a bit more content to this story, for the readers of course!

So things are being delayed a bit longer as we work on the additional content for the story. Until then, your patience is very much appreciated!

So, I haven't spent a lot of time working on stuff in the last week (other stuff distracting me), but here's a quick teaser render.

Amy (right) is making a quick cameo in the aforementioned short story that we've been working on.

Another quick note:

So, Milfy City is suddenly NOT abandoned again (yay?) and there was a new update.

This is slightly relevant as my takes on Sara and a couple of other Milfy City characters made appearances in FmF, and our version of Sara will be in the short story that we've been re-tooling. The last time we saw Sara in FmF was here:

There's another short story for FmF that at this point I think could use a bit of a rework (the horse riding story), but for now that one is on the backburner. It'd be fun if Sara was part of that one, but she's in another city and it'd seem 'gimmicky' to include her in the riding story. Plus, she's in the Game Night story already.

Anyways, I bring all of this up to note that our crossover characters, while heavily based on the stories in their respective games, are going to have a few differences in their backstories. So they are 'heavily inspired by' characters, and are homages of sorts to those characters. Also, I usually pick 'abandoned or finished' game characters for cameios, and Milfy City is 'unabandoned' again but isn't finished sooo yeah...

But I'm rambling. I installed an additional hard drive into Uber Laptop here yesterday, and am currently focused on installing a bunch of Daz Studio assets that I've bought over the last year that I've been putting off installing due to lack of hard drive space. This is going to take several days, as the download speeds that the Daz3D.com servers allow are limited, which means it'll take several days to download the rest of the content that I acquired/purchased.

8 TB NVME SSD drives are still expensive ($750+), but I found an adaptor for the empty slim CD/DVD bay in Uber Laptop here, the DVD drive that used to be in that bay is now in my HTPC build, to install another 8 TB SATA SSD, which is working out just fine. And for about half the cost of the NVME drive! So I'm 'set' on extra storage space for a while now, which had become a significant issue of late! It's a bit slower than an NVME drive, but still MUCH faster than spinning rust via an external USB port.

A bit of this content may tie in to future FmF stories, there's some really cool stuff that I've recently acquired. Right now I'm pondering proposing another collab with RustyV on a secret agent type dream story featuring Agent HH7...

Yep, we like to do unauthorized homage parodies around here, you should know that by now! Several of the assets I've acquired over the years would lend themselves very well to an underwater covert mission...

But I'm getting off track here. I've mostly wrapped up the new renders that I want to add to the Game Night story, now I just need to work them into the existing dialogue... but I'm distracted with other things (mainly the downloads thing) for a bit. I'm still plugging away though!

Working out a couple of details for Amy's extended family. Jenny (right) is just a friend, Zamira (second gal) is now Steve the Astronaut's sister, she has a cousin that looks a lot like Steve... in any case, yeah that makes Zamira Amy's Auntie... the MCC crossover madness continues!

This loosely ties in with the Girl's Game Night story that I'm slowly hammering away at. I keep adding stuff...

Quick update of sorts...

Something that I tend to spend a lot of time on is thinking about backstories, relationships, and how those influence how a character develops.

On of my regrets with FmF is that a lot of the backstory lore remains hidden from y'all, as some reveals are planned for future stories, and hence I can't simply discuss them here in this thread.

These things still influence the flow of the stories of course. The FmF 'canon' draws heavily on the canon of several games, but is very much it's own thing, with a few relationships altered to fit everything together into the alternate universe 'blended' storylines.

As an example, these three...

So the young lad at the left is my attempt to youthen Nathan, a.k.a. Elle's dad. The morphs I used for the older version of him in FmF incorporates an 'old chap' morph into the face. I may take another stab at his face, but back on topic.

Mira (middle) is my nod to the Cousin in My Cute Cousin Roommate, as a young adult, and to the right is a younger version of Steve.

I need to tweak the color of his sweats/make it darker and less 'prison uniform-ey color', and the sweat jacket is actually a bit of a placeholder - there's a better jacket that I'd like to use but don't have, and don't want to pay full price for... wish I had noticed it a few days earlier but I digress....

Steve and Amy are essentially new characters created specifically for the FmF storyline, the idea being that Nathan has a brother (Steve) and a niece (Amy). Mira has been added as Nathan and Steve's sister in FmF. Mainly for the eye candy factor, and to strengthen our 'parody' nod to MCC a bit, 'cuz some people like exaggerated proportions...

Incidentally, this means that Elle has a really hot Auntie that we will probably incorporate into future storylines... Elle's relationship with Auntie Mira has some interesting possibilities... and she's also Amy's Auntie of course!

But in any case, I don't like to introduce eye candy just for the sake of eye candy, hence the new 'brother-sister' relationship. Also, the MC in MCC bears a rather strong resemblance to Steve, so there's a bit of 'ancestral genetics' at play there, i.e. both bear a strong resemblance to a common grandfather...

There are several reasons why FmF remains a 'done entirely for free for fans' endeavor:

1) The incorporation of various characters from other settings (I.e. I personally wouldn't feel right monetizing this)
2) The incest thing, FmF has a bit of incest going on - currently Rachael and her Dad has been shown, and of course being an alternate universe parody of DMD, yeah there's probably incest in Dee's future, and with certain other characters that I won't get into here (spoilers).

Anyways, yeah back to Nathan and Steve (and Mira)...

So yeah, I may make another stab at young Nathan's face, mainly I'm trying to invoke the resemblance between brothers, with some differences of course, and 'younger Nathan' is a bit of a challenge for me. But back on topic...

My point here is that since I'm introducing a few new story elements into the Girl's Game Night story, these backstories are relevant, and the reason that this story is getting delayed a bit more, as I work out the various story elements that get referenced in the Girl's Game Night story.

I am of course consulting with RustyV on these backstories, and there's a bit of back and forth dialogue about how we can flesh a few things out a bit more.

As for Jen, her Mom and Uncle...

I'm still pondering Tara and Walter's situation a bit. They are brother and sister of course, but as to what they do for jobs, etc. yeah still need to work a few things out. This 'subplot' relates more to later chapters of FmF (if/when we get to those) but my point is that I probably spend too much time thinking about such things, as I like to tittilate people with said backstories here and there...

Amy's mom is the next character that I need to develop. Amy and Elle's moms aren't around anymore (for continuity reasons), but do relate to Steve and Nathan's backstories, hence why I think about such things.

Just wanted to give y'all a bit of insight into my thought process. I do the same thing in Enthralled, Kat(i)e's 'crossover' family tree is also rather interesting...



Note: Ellis (Christy's sister) is around too, but she actually hasn't appeared in Enthralled yet, just briefly in FmF...

Enthralled and FmF are essentially in the same 'unofficial crossover'universe, although most of the characters in Enthralled (besides Dee, Jen, Elle and Brayden) aren't part of the FmF story, although cameos here and there do occur...

RustyV has also introduced a few new characters as well, I'm still looking forward to future Zoot appearances!

In other news, just finished watching Season 1 of Ahsoka. Ray Stevenson, you will be sorely missed!

Total honesty here, the second 8TB SSD was mainly so that I could move my porn vid collection to a new drive to make space for all of the Daz stuff that I've been buying/acquiring recently.

And also all of those Ren'Py and other porn games I've been collecting over the years, although I still have space for those currently and there are file path dependencies so I can keep those in place for now. Copying hundreds of Ren'Py games over to a new drive took hours though, all of those tiny files really slow the copy speeds down...

I also moved an entire second 1TB partition to the new drive, so that I could dedicate my Daz drive more exclusively for Daz content only (on a unified partition).

Before, I had less than 50GB left on my Daz drive, now there's 1.24 TB left, even after installing 350GB of new Daz content (which took literally days for download at roughly 10-30 Mb/sec). So yeah, too much porn, which I keep purely for 'research' purposes of course!

As for the whole family trees thing, yeah I've made several family tree graphics, with annotations and notes, which of course I can't share atm 'cuz spoilers... All for the potential incest angles of course, it's important to keep track of which relatives have had intimate relations with which other relatives...
