Is Daniel present in those scenes? Is he watching? and if so does Melinda know he's watching? Maybe trying to make Daniel jealous?

Well, the developer made an incredibly bold (and dumb) move, you don't develop this kind of game for years just to add netorare in it, especially if it's with the main li, netorare it's the most polarizing mainstream kink, you love it or you hate it and from those little scenes it seems pretty clear to me that he is going to add more of it in the future, Good luck with the game, it was a fun trashfire to read

Most of the time Daniel is in hiding or is on his way to go to the pool with Mel, in another he spies on them in the laundry and we are forced to hear Melinda compliment Lee's beautiful body, her words.
You can't avoid it.
And in the other scenes where you can "intervene" if we want to say so, you always intervene at the end of the flirtation with Melinda who always but always takes the defense of the handyman.

Thanks man, Melinda deserves a try, but if you want to spend weeks just touching her ass and then see a black guy raping her and she likes it, forget it, you get pissed.

Either she knows Daniel is watching and is just screwing with him or she's completely lost her mind and is taking after Ann.
Daniel can't cheat on her(which is out of the players control) but she can cheat on Daniel

Believe me, she does not know that Daniel is there, for example in the scene of changing the light bulb, when we call her she turns scared because she has not heard us arrive, in other scenes Daniel is not even present, such as that of the broken-down sink and that of the laundry.

Then I'm really curious about the ntr in the next update to see what her reasoning is for jumping on the first dick she sees after supposedly falling in love with Daniel.

But she is already in love when the rape happens, in fact in those scenes there are many, many lines of dialogue that make us understand where Mel will end up.
For example, if we intervene with Jax with the gun the guy bought outside the store, Jax will catch us and tell us that after he is done with Melinda he will kill us.
If we decide to open our eyes while tied in the chair Daniel will say:
"What the fuck, she's enjoying"
In fact, Melinda ignores Daniel in the chair for the first few minutes and when she returns to herself she takes the gun and kills Jax.
After killing him she will say these words to Jax's body:
"Death brings Death"
Confused Daniel says, "What do you mean?"
Melinda: Nothing.
The meaning is easy to understand if Jax hadn't threatened Daniel with death, she would never have killed him.
Then after it's all over Melinda tells Daniel:
"I hope that after what you have seen you will not look at me with different eyes"
Daniel: No, don't worry.
Why do you tell him this? Because she knows she's a whore and wants to make sure Daniel doesn't see her that way.

So we spend weeks grinding this game being led to believe she is not a whore then suddenly the dev decides "Hey she was whore the whole time!"
