I am Really Hurt & Pissed Off Right Now to form Any kind of Intelligible Argument.
We get to choose from 6 possible Endings; why not 8??
(as mentioned No Hailey Ending; No Susan Ending)
Honestly, Nobody Expected This Game to Last Forever, but REALLY!!
There Is STILL So Many More Directions/Possibilities for This Story/Game to Go.
(I Have Written Quite a few when I was still talking with V.A. Laurie).
Example:
introduced a "Sherry" (coffee shop customer) story line.
Sherry's Business (Hair & Nail salon / massage parlor)
MC's experiment working Pro bono A.M. shifts to bring in More customers
Melody promoting MC to Asst (giving him Keys to Coffee Shop)
MC hiring Alice (or Karina) as A.M. Business picks up.
MC looks into getting his Masseuse License/ working PT w/ Sherry
(introduces 'playtime' with Sherry)
an Intimate/sexual relationship with Alice & Hailey (Real or Fantasy),
maybe leading to a 3-way with Alice, Hailey & MC.
(I feel that I am a Good/decent writer. I am Totally Vested in FF characters;
but I lack the "DEV" or Tech skills to move forward)
Kinda Hoping THIS Story line to be Added to the "Extra" Tab; like the Other
'Alternate Ending' (Where MC chooses to be with Karina,...).
Having said THAT,...
MY MC would Only have 3 of the possible Endings
1) Choosing Alice
2) Choosing Melody
3) Choosing ALL of Them
No Leah Ending;
IF Everyone remembers, Leah wants to pursue a 'Travel Journalism' Career.
So, Her Career Choice COULD put a Serious Strain on a "Romantic" relationship.
No Karina Ending;
(Not Speaking for Everyone, as Some May Like Karina)
MY MC Like, Cares, and Maybe even Loves Karina, but,...
His feelings for Karina Are Not as Deep (NOT 'In Love' with her) as They Are for Alice or Melody.
And Choosing 'Breaking Up with Everyone' Is Not an Option!!
But This COULD Still OPEN the Door to Choose either Hailey or Susan.
As I have mentioned before Choosing 'Susan' path Could SERIOUSLY Damage
MC's Relationship with All of the Girls (especially Alice & Leah).
I Can See The Alice or Melody path to Include Hailey (3-way relationship),
maybe even the Karina path to include Hailey.
Finally, It Is Going to Be Sad/ Heartbreaking when "Freeloading Family"
reaches its Conclusion and Ends,...
It Is EASILY One of The Best Games (Top 5) out here!

btw, simple question, whenever I click on the images in the folders in most games I can't get any application to open them. It says "corrupt, damaged or unrecognized format"even though I can view other jpeg/ pngs no problem... any idea why this is?

There IS SO Much MORE to a Loving/Romantic Relationship with Hailey Than Just a Sexual one!!
Sure, NOW while both of Them are 'young' enough to have a Sexual relationship.
GREAT!! I am All for it!!
If Hailey does not want to have children; she could 'get fixed'.
And the FUTURE with Aunt Hailey would Only Depend upon How Much MC Loves Her.
She Was Family Before relationship; so There Is Already a "History" with them.
They CAN Be A Family without Having Children!!
(How Many Marriages Out there where Wife cannot bare children and The relationship Can Still survive/last??)
And They could ALWAYS Adopt IF THAT is the Path they wanted to choose.

At first, it would would be difficult,..
I cannot imagine it paying well in the beginning,
but IF Leah's career is successful who knows,...

About all the Hailey hating and ageism:
I'm into her not just because she's smoking hot (the best of them imho) but precisely because I want to ease her pain (in a healthy way, not with alcohol) and give her what her ex couldn't, which is family. It's a disgrace that a woman that gorgeous can't be a mom (if she wants to be). Gonna fix that before it's too late! Who better than someone who already knows her, and cares about her for more than just being gorgeous? If I'm with her 20 years and we've raised a kid (or two) together, I'm sure not gonna bail on her just because she's a few years older. And so long as we're trading poetry, here's W.B. Yeats for you:
When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

just a note to say thank you to the devs for creating one of the best stories on this entire website. i absolutely love these characters, and i'll be sorry to see them go when they do go (and there's still obviously a lot of story to tell), but i also can't wait to see what the devs work on next.

The problem is while yes we get 6 more upgrades those are basically 6 different path you can take, not 6 updates with a continual storyline, so yes its possible the upgrade for Karina & Mel might expand on their emotional character development... however that being said the problem is that is going AFTER you get to decide if you want to be with them or not, which makes it counter productive, it would make more sense story wise for their development to have happened before that point.
Next you say we won't know what is coming in the next, however that is wrong the next half dozen updates are going each of the 4 main girls path or ending, the Harem path or ending and the break up path or ending, literally they show us if you played this chapter that the next step is making a critical choice, THAT IS IT, unless the Devs retcon the last chapter of the game and cancel that last time skip and what comes after its effectively the ultimate choice of the game, each of the next 6 updates are independent from one another, all that is left is to chose which path you want, its like in Mass Effect 3 when you stood in the Citadel and had to chose how you want to deal with the Reaper problem, yes their are 3 (4) endings possible.
So yea what is coming next is very likely literally in order each of those endings being produced, so Alice, Mel, Leah, Karina, Harem and Break Up, in that order, otherwise it would be weird that they put the option in the order they did if they didn't intend to be the next half a dozen updates in that exact order.

i'm going to say this in a slightly shorter, not spoilered not wall of text. the day this came out, i had a smoother, more elequent, longer post, that i deleted when the dev responded and i saw that he had slid in above my reply, that it wasn't done yet.
but now that i'm done with playing it... i'm done with playing it. this update, this choice of this is how to wrap things up, regardless of how many more "updates" are coming to close out endings. this sucked. game rocking and rolling, going full speed, crash into a brick fucking wall.
going to give the dev benefit of the doubt and not assume reasons for why such a rush crash end, but this killed it for me, which is too bad. i really liked this game.

With all the criticism of the update and of the people complaining about the update, I think I can make the bridge. I believe many people would not be complaining that it was coming to an end if it was logical and thought out. This is how a small rewrite of the ending set up might be able to calm many people.
So the Dev wanted to end the game? So let's keep the same major game decision that is wrapping this VN up, the same. The Father and Stepmom move back in to fuck everything up. We get the same time jumps until the one with Alice and MC. Small Rewrite option one is Alice and the MC move in with Hailey. Hold on before you freak out because you don't want to fuck Hailey. Listen, even if you don't pursue Hailey as a sexual relationship, she still loves your friends and Alice, so it would only be natural that since your father fucked you over she would help you out. In this rewrite you could even have the beginning of choice as well. That based off your relationship points you could move into an apartment with the girl/girls your pursuing. That's a little bigger of a rewrite but still plausible. Right there you would quell some of the hate that is felt in this update. Second rewrite is, when your dad calls back add and option to say fuck off! Instead of telling your dad about who you choose to spend your life with, you can talk to the mysterious figure that's showed up twice. Forcing reconciliations with characters is lazy writing. The third rewrite I am pretty sure is being added is having Hailey as a choice as well as many people love her story as well. I am pretty sure that will be added.
I feel these rewrites would quell some hate. Not all hate of course, when you make a VN that isn't necessarily about the porn and more about building relationships that also has some drama having a choose a girl ending feels cheap. The story progressed organically and made sense when certain events would change the dynamic of the group of girls and the MC. The Dev wants to end the game? Fine, completely entitled to do so, but when you want to end something, that people are invested in enough to donate money to play a game that they can get for free, and end it with a choose a girl ending will leave people feeling shortchange.
Also comparing this to the visit is laughable, that game has nothing to do with relationships, drama or the characters growth, that game is completely about the porn and getting into the characters pants easily.(which is fine by the way, we all can enjoy some big titty milfs) People are complaining in that thread for one reason the endings they want are Harem and Aunt and mom and are being held to the last endings cuz the dev knows people would just check out after.

I'm quite surprised at the turn of events for this update. I've enjoyed this one from the get go and have loved the progression with many of the girls both as personalities and romantically/sexually, but to have some speed-reading 'end' that skips over weeks if not months to a multiple choice ending seems at odds with the development of the story thus far.
From the polyamorous highs of previous updates to this potential end seems to do the game a disserivce as if the dev either farmed the ending out to someone much less invested in the storyline or simply didn't care.
I can only hope that the coming updates might tie up the storyline a bit better and have at least a semblance of reasonable time flow rather than the apparent gaps with this update.
