So all my saves from 2018 and 2019 are working but my 2020 saves all just crash the game and requires me to restart the game. That can't be possible I only played the game before the latest update and everything was working just fine. Please if there's a fix for this issue please provide it, I'm completely lost in what to do. I DON'T WANT TO RESTART AND LOSE ALL THE PROGRESS I'VE MADE!

what criticism do you actually agree with and what are you planning to do to make the story better
The game is nearly done, they won't remake it to include any suggestions. You can voice your opinion though

I'm ready for the Melody ending. She was awesome needs her own game :p
I'm waiting for the "no one" ending, looking forward to end up alone like irl  ... jk

Perhaps will end up with aunt in this ending

but I need to know what do you think about our criticism
Well that depends what specific criticism you're referring to. I mean there are ~8.2k comments here with a lot of different aspect being criticized. Ranging from writing, story telling, pacing, animation (or lack thereof) and so on. What I do think of them in a general sense is always the same, which is welcomed. I can't say that a criticism is wrong, because it's subjective. That's how the person who criticized it perceived the game, and I can't really object to that.
what criticism do you actually agree with
There are a lot of criticism that I agree with but there's still not much we can do about it for a multitude of factors. One example is the aforementioned lack of animation. A common criticism. What a lot of people can't see is what is happening on the developer side of things. I can fully understand only seeing from the player's side and thinking that a lack of animation is a genuine problem. But from a developer perspective, you realize that it's not really feasible to have consistent amount of animated scenes in each update. Simply due to the vast amount of time it takes to make. The time to make a 2-4 seconds animation could've been spent on making 60 still image renders instead.

But that's a more technical criticism. There's also criticism about the story and the direction it is going. What most writers/developers will realize early on is that it's absolutely impossible to please everyone. So we just focus instead of creating a story we think is enjoyable and try not to compromise that vision too much. For example, let's take the criticism you brought up about just wanting Alice and not any of the other girls. I can fully understand that criticism. But our option for fixing that are extremely limited and not really appealing, neither to us as developer nor you as player. We have the option of needing to make an entirely separate branch in our story to appease people who want Alice only, which would most likely double the amount of work needed for each update. Making the progress for each update excessively long. And half of that content will not even be seen by most people, cause they don't opt for that branch. Another option we have is simply giving the player the option to skip all scenes with the other girls and only including Alice. This is also quite a troublesome approach. The story wouldn't make any sense unless we rewrote every single scene with Alice to accommodate for that. But as we established earlier, that's not really feasible. So the player would end up with a excessively short game and a story that makes no sense.

what are you planning to do to make the story better
We are always doing our best to make the story better. But as established earlier, it's very subjective. And no matter what, there will always be people who aren't happy with the direction it's going. To give an example, the most recent update, which was one of the endings. It has been extremely split. I've seen a lot of people saying it's a fantastic ending that fits Leah's character perfectly. But I've also seen people saying it's a absolutely dreadful ending that goes against all logic previously established in the game.

Now with all this said. This doesn't mean that criticism goes unheard. If we see people criticizing something and we think that it's something that can be improved upon, we will for sure try our best to do that. But what I wanted said with all of this is that despite something being objectively positive for a player. That does not mean it is doable for developers. Which means that sometimes players may feel unheard when they criticize that thing, which is just not the case. To make an extreme example: It would be objectively positive for the player to be able to handpick which girl they want to spend time with, and no matter how you mix and match your selection, you'll still have a personalized story with those girls in a lengthy game. But as a developer, that's not doable at all. There's way too many branches that needs to be worked on all at the same time. Not something that's realistically possible for two people to make. Even AAA games with hundreds of employees under them struggle with multiple branches in games. Because essentially, in simple terms, a single branch added is double the amount of development needed.

Hope that answered your questions!

is that any criticism that we made that you will try to keep in mind in the future when making another game

like for instance I told you I don't care about animation but would you consider in your next game

could you include the option to reject a girl

and if you reject a girl you could take the time you were going to spend with that girl and spend it with someone else

I will give you an example using a scene from this game

do you remember the scene at the beginning of the game

mc step sister wanted him to walk home with her but he couldn't because he had to meet the teacher in her classroom

well you can make a mc goes to the classroom and the teacher comes on to him if he chooses to reject her

we could leave the classroom and now the time he was going to spend with the teacher he can walk with his sister home

and I know you could include a scene of them romantically watching a movie
spending time getting closer
Well I explained the answer to that very question in my previous post. There's a reason we don't have the option to reject a girl. This would introduce a bunch of branching in the story. Which will massively increase the amount of development time. Time we simply don't have. Unfortunately this is not a matter of this game specifically. If we were to make another game, the same problem still persist. Maybe I didn't really explain it properly before. So I'll try again in as simple way as I can:
For every choice we give the player. A new story branch appears. For every story branch that appears, that is how much our development time is multiplied with. Which can get quite excessive very quickly. Which is why when we do have branches. We often weave them back together. The game is very linear for this very reason.

That's the issue with harem games. It's tricky to adjust the size of the harem without creating a lot of branches.

And unless you do it like Harem Hotel/Mythic Manor where each girl is effectively there own story, its even harder. I can attest to that as I am writing a couple rando wank fests for my own amusement. So yeah. Unless you gonna pay for the whole of the project, you are gonna get what the author wants to give, not what you want specifically :)

FFCreations Do you plan to gate the ending choice behind relationship points with said character when they're all done ? or whatever we did throughout the story doesn't count ?

For instance if I focus on Alice and avoid as much as possible Leah, I shouldn't be able to choose Leah ending imo

The endings will be gated when the game is fully done. Meaning you actually will have to have a certain amount of relationship points (and also possibly triggered specific flags) in order to get a certain ending. We just leave them all open for now so that people don't have to try and unlock each specific ending just to play the latest update.

i can totally understand where you're coming from. especially the animation issue. i 100% agree on that, as animations are way too much time consuming for something that might even be missed and or doesn't even look right. because honestly only one third of animations in games look like they're comfortably doable, the motion is fluent, not too repetitive and most important look like the actors are having fun. so no animations in a game, i see it as a plus.

but you must understand that the last two updates sparked a huge controversy and that means 2 things.
1. a lot of people really liked the game, as otherwise they wouldn't care as much. (that's something you definitely can and should be proud of)
2. there is something wrong with what you have done to the game (no buts. it just is)

i sincerely do not know what exactly is wrong, i doubt anyone does, although i have my suspicions.
the ending feels rushed and then gets streched out again. for no seemingly reason you stop the narrative abruptly and tell us that we have to choose our ending. we are not in a game anymore, we are in a ending sequence. an ending to a game shouldn't be like that, it should come to us because of the choices we made and not at a vending machine, which offers us an ending based on the points we gathered up to that moment.
then we only got 1 ending so far, but i think it wasn't a good idea to make an entire update about each ending. because you probably thought that the players expect an full update worth of content for that ending and had to fill it with something. not that that would be wrong, but since when did people know what they wanted. having to fill an entire update, you try to put in more story, more depth. but doing that right at the end makes it overloaded, too much to take in, superfluous. too overused time jumps are symptoms for that. if theoretically the story of that ending would have been integrated evenly into the general game, it wouldn't come off as hampering as it is now.

i know it's too late to change now, but what would have been better, is to have defining choices near the end for each heroine and only if you did all of them "right" you'd get the harem ending, otherwise you'd get the ending of the girl you had the most points with and did the defining choice right. or you could do the defining choices like you had 4 times to choose which girl and if you chose one girl 3 times, you'd get the ending with her, and only if you choose every girl, you'd get the harem ending.

however what i still can tell you, is that it would be good to have one last chance to back out from that ending. i'm sure some people would have liked to abandon Leah, the moment she lied to the MC. this nets you a bad ending, but at least you were in control of whether or not you wanted to pull through. this also makes it more satisfying for those that wanted to stick to Leah.
so my advice is, let us have a choice at the end of the other endings, how unimportant it may seem.

A couple more sex positions would help a lot. It's a porn game ffs, not some slice of life bullshit, it's very purpose should be to arouse the audience and make perverts jerk off. Even porn comics have more sex positions, a more arousing narrative and dirty talk than what we see here.:cautious: No offense to the devs or the fans, but most sex scenes are as "fun" to watch/read as watching a virgin fuck an "experienced" pornstar live.

mehGusta Nailed it bruh. 100% agree with everything u said. This comment is spot on !!(y) Ppl who "bitch" about the game being rushed to the ending sequence keep "bitching" cause they care, they give a fuck and they like it. They still hope that the dev somehow fills the plot holes and the lack of a proper closure that the game has, but at this point it's impossible to do that just like u said.

Leah's ending should've had an option to tell her to go fuck herself and an option to have a 3some with her and Alice. Don't forget that Alice was her GF/fuck buddy before the MC !! Instead we got a simp who doesn't have the balls to tell her what's on his mind. I bet many players chose the "bad boy" options and get a surprise full simp mode ending. Not cool !!:cautious:

While I agree with many aspects regarding storytelling and the MC...

Visual Novel....not porn game...not porn walk-along...Visual Novel...the hint is in the description. I seriously don't get at all why antyone would 'play' these games for 3D generated rendered 5 second looping animated porn....just watch a damn video/vr, pay for a hooker or something. The lewd scenes are just a bit of bonus fun.

Christ...be more people complaining about how much text there is next....

Guess we forgot to bitch about that too. At least there's pics so it's not that big of a problem. It's not too late tho. Just kidding.

I seriously don't understand why porn movies have actual fucking. The plot, a nice dirty talk and some nudity is enough (for a quick shooter maybe). How about that ??

I hope u realize that ppl playing this type of games don't play them to compensate the lack of a SO lol. Some players play these games with their girls watching or joining them, just for fun... what would u expect them to do ?? Ask the girl for money to pay a hooker for a quick "release" ??:WaitWhat: Saying porn game without animations of the "action" doesn't even sound good ... it's 2020, there's a lot of high-quality shit for that. Ok, it's too late to add animations now, should be more positions and a more passionate fucking, especially if the woman involved is a LI ... just saying.

The lewd scenes are just a bit of bonus fun.
WTF ??:WaitWhat: Can u be an English teacher and fuck the grammar in the ass in every sentence or in any conversation u trying to make ?? I guess the next debate will be about why porn games contain sex scenes and nudity.o_O:FacePalm:

I just want to say, i never wrote a comment like this, but needless to say i love this Game! It is so well made, the creative writing behind the story lines really binded me to the story. I can't really think any moment where i was disappointed in the story. Even if there was less animations as i am accustomed to, it is only a small notice, nothing which really disturbed me in any shape or form! I only want to ask one thing: Will there be any updates coming soon for the endings for each Character? I am really hyped for it, as i definitely want the Alice Ending and will be there anything close like this coming soon, or maybe even a continuation ? I would actually be sad if there is nothing more to come, cheers!

Wanted to note that english isn't my first language, hope i didn't make any spelling or grammar mistakes!

cool game, great renders, too much text but tolerable. I just can't feel the poly-something relationship
even though the characters themselves already said that they're fine with it. maybe because its not too realistic or uncomfortable (but incest no lol), but who am I kidding. it's a frickin' game lol. looking forward for more.
